This is kind of close to where I live, so it'd be interesting to road trip to it.
Reconstruction drawing of the late medieval Wanås castle. Two brick buildings, surrounded by a moat. A little drawbridge. On. the castle side, some wooden walls.

I boosted a Danish tweet from state radio, on "tax authorities used an automated decision-making process (a 'robot'), which wrongfully took money from homeowners". Is it a management decision? One could say! IBM's classic slide in 1979:
IBM slide from 1979. A computer
can never be held accountable

therefore a computer must never
make a management decision.

I mean screen grabs like this
Screengrab of black and white TV interview with Richard Brautigan. The subject is seated, indoors, supports one cheek in his hand, wearing round glasses, having longish hair and a handlebar mustache. He has a shirt with wide lapels and breast pockets. "Das Wahrnehmungvermögen ist eine außerordentliche Gabe." reads the German subtitle. ("Perception is an amazing gift")

#copenhagen #theatre The amazing and witty cabaret Livingstones Kabinet re-run their "Lilith" play. "Vi spiller rundt omkring i det danske land fra d. 17.marts, og så slutter vi af i København på Litteraturhaus 9.april-12-april." (English: We tour Denmark from […] [Original post on ruby.social]
A singer with a gray beard dressed in white shirt and pants performs in a musical. Red drapes dramatically lit in the background. Two raised, round platforms hold other performers, who form "antlers" with their hands, knees bent.

I wish for you the calm of a chill scribe with a support animal in the room with them: gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b5500…
Late-medieval manuscript illumination from a French manuscript. A man writes at a wooden pulpit in a grey-walled room with tiled floor. A fruit and some books are visible on a shelf in the pulpit. He is dressed in a long tunic and has some sort of liripipe hood-related chaperone on head. Under a table with books on it is a small cow. Outside, through the window, we see a channel, castle, fishing boats in the stream, birds in the sky. Good weather.

Facebook's amazing. I wrote ONE LINE about the concept of eel-rents in the 1086 Domesday book tax notes. After 10 interacts with that, this helpful notification appears. "Create an event for it, to reach more people". I don't even. But, I will instead link […] [Original post on ruby.social]
