når Trump vant valget hadde jeg enda et håp om at det skulle gå bra. at vi kunne klare å holde oss unna. med Storbritannias høyesteretts nyeste avgjørelse er jeg nå ikke sikker i det hele tatt. for første gang er jeg genuint redd for min egen fremtid, og for alle andre transpersoners fremtid.

Veldig mye av kulturkrigen fra høyre følger en konebankerlogikk. "Se hva du tvang meg til å gjøre". De vil fortelle at nedriving av demokratiet og rettsstaten, og undertrykkelse av svake grupper, er en "respons" på innbilte trusler fra "woke" e.l. Et billig retorisk knep som ingen bør falle for.
