It's exactly as it was in lockdown. No changes, just a lick of paint.

Reminding myself of what I wanted to do.

Oliver Postgate at an ad hoc editing set up in what looks like a breeze-block shed; footage of 16mm film around his neck. Bag Puss is sat at the editing bench draped with more 16mm film. There's a Bolex 16mm camera on legs beside Oliver. He poses, one hand on the winder, the other adjusting the camera's matte box.

All yours for a bargain price. A steel frame and asbestos beauty. Live the dream. Only a lottery win away.

House prices.

Rightmove property sale history. In 1998, the house sold for £55,000. It is now on the market for £400,000.

No extensions. No conversions. Much the same as it was when it was built. Postage stamp garden astroturfed. Third bedroom barely big enough for a single bed.

AIR rate card 2025 -- "A Vital Benchmark for Fair Pay in the Audio Industry" airmedia.org/air-releases...

An Explanation of the Rates:

"People need to understand that this is actually a profession. So many people are doing it in their basements that it feels like it's just like a hobby, but it's a real profession. And when you are doing something professional and skilled, it should have a price that reflects your expertise."
