Very sad to see Randolph Mantooth died. Emergency! was one of Mom's favorite shows and watching it always makes me think of her. Kevin Tighe was her favorite on the show, but she admitted he needed Randolph Mantooth to play off.

Fall/winter has come to our house. We've put the heavy comforter on the bed and the cozy blankets have come out of hibernation. Tonight Human made one of her winter classic dinners...cream of cheese soup and garlic bread. And we've gotten back to cozy nights in bed reading.

Food Network has an Olympics Italian Week promo, with a voice over "Italians love to bake" while images of a tiramisu are on the screen... Uhh....Food Network, as you should know, there is NO baking in tiramisu. It's a refrigerator dessert. Unless you bake the lady fingers from scratch, no baking.
