Loving the MGS4 remaster. I never appreciated how much fun stuff there is in this game, I used to just headshot tranq every enemy. Now I’m rolling deep with the boys overthrowing the PMC.

First beach trip in 2 years. 10 minute drive, hottest year on record. We are stupid for not going.

The @bhvr.com art team has been killing it recently. It’s great how far they can push the art direction while still remaining true to DBD. Really cool stuff, vibes are immaculate.

My account got hacked by a porn bot, they went mental for 24 hours ish. When recovering I got to see my face next to their comments so obviously saved the best ones. If you thought I was a pornstar and now you’re following me, sorry I’m a balding white dude 👍 I’ve removed it all the best I can.

Drew this cow today. Cant draw skies. Feeling somewhat strange in operation recovery mode. Hoping to be back to full power on Monday.

Oil pastel drawing of a cow. The sky is rendered badly.

Pencil drawing of a cow. Almost geometric like.

Been playing through First Light - what a game that is by the way. Here’s James Bond, sketched over lunch. Patrick Gibson is doing a fine job filling those giant shoes! #portrait

Took a gamble on the switch title Dragon Ruins II based on some positive impressions online, and it totally owns. The illustrations for the characters/monsters are amazing too.

Also in Japan the graphic designers absolutely snapped. Great posters everywhere

When we went to Japan earlier this year my wife fell in love with the Tokyo metro safety posters. I snapped a pic of one at the time and recreated it in Illustrator as a surprise for her christmas present.

I had little play on Procreate last night after not using it for about a year. It’s all changed, and I’m sure for the better but I had no idea what I was doing haha. If anyone knows any recent good tutorials (especially for painting) let me know. #contemporary #painting

Shmup fans (and Tate fans) we are so back. Got this flip grip off Etsy. It’s also magnetic so the joycons snap in like on the switch 2!

Rare Item Studio was one of the best stores we went to in Japan. It is a retro game store but has more of a cozy vibe rather than the usual claustrophobic one. A bit out of the way in Akihabara, but worth the effort to find! They also had vinyl and books.

The lead characters literally work for the government lol. You can’t get more political than that! (I know they mean the wankstain made up definition of “political” but I’m choosing to not care)

I’ve been playing Avowed for 3 hours and the art/environment is blowing me away. Every single corner I go around in this one SINGLE cave has had my jaw on the floor. The artists really cooked with this one.

I’m watching the Blue Rose Cut of Fire Walk With Me (Ive seen the original and the Missing Pieces many times) and it’s a good alternative for a REWATCH. Better than I was expecting, a couple of dodgy edits so far haha. 3 hours 15 mins tho 🥲

Muddy hands are insane for grinding in Dragon Quest 3, not sure if this is known. If they call in back up of more muddy hands, they will never call in a statue enemy. Easy EXP.
