In 2012, the Guardian reported Jason Arday’s 30-marathon achievement. In 2023, it stated as fact that he had “run 30 marathons in 35 days to raise money for charity.” Yet in August 2026, the Guardian recast the same achievement as a questionable ‘claim’. (1 of 3)
