I didn't feel like doing any painting today, so I did some more scratch building on one of my Trukks. I still need to work out how I'm going to do the weapons though.

My Star Trek TOS watch continues, I'm on to MIRROR, MIRROR!!

Warsmith Stu @oldstu.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I've been doing a little bit of hobby work each day for 76 days. Today, I did some more on my Smasha Squig.

Warsmith Stu @oldstu.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I've been chipping away at Star Trek TOS, and so much of this series is really good stuff, I've just started on season 2, and we're already off to a good start.

This week's #deskbot rounds out the Decepticon Headmasters, it's Mindwipe!

Warsmith Stu @oldstu.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I've been messing with the stuff from yesterday's toy hunt. Here's some quick thoughts. CW Bull Megatron - he's just fun, even if he is really basic. He's currently piloting Pirate Ship Scourge.

Warsmith Stu @oldstu.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Fun day doing a little toy hunting with @wilw86.bsky.social and watching the 86 Transformers movie on the big screen. Not a bad haul, and only one of them was at regular retail price!

I've been watching Star Trek TOS while I'm at work, I've just hit the episode Space Seed.

This week's #deskbot is the second of the Decepticon Headmasters, Weirdwolf! Mine has a very broken hinge, which has reinforced my idea of tracking down the "retro" versions of the Decepticons.

Back at work after a week off means it's time for a fresh #deskbot! This week, I brought in Titans Return Skullcruncher! (Reposted to correct a spelling mistake)

The Dakkarig has it's knee pads on now.

We met up with @wilw86.bsky.social and Alex today to go get something to eat and a little toy hunting. Wil had grabbed me a AOTP Wreck-Gar from Ross already, and I found the Devastation 2 pack when we checked one out. A fun day with friends and cheap toys, it doesn't get much better than that.

Warsmith Stu @oldstu.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I started on the Dakkarig today. I did manage to glue the legs slightly out of position, so I need to fill the now visible base hole.

I usually write a long-winded complaint about a certain wrestler and then delete it each week. His fans go looking for people who don't like him and give them grief, so I tend not post them.

After spending the last few days getting stuff built for a game on Thursday, I'm back to painting the Armageddon Grots.

Warsmith Stu @oldstu.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

We've got The Wicker Man on. (The original, none of that Nicholas Cage pish) It's still one of my favorite horror films.

Spent the last few days hobbying, I needed to build a bunch of Orks for a game on Thursday. An honest to goodness game of 40K.

Bannernob is done! I was kinda dreading painting this guy, something about the banner was worrying me. But he's all done now, and I'm really happy with it.

I've almost got the Bannernob finished.

Warsmith Stu @oldstu.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I built the Blokees Jeff, and I've got to say, it's awesome. Better articulation than the Marvel Legends and Hot Toys versions.

“if you see this, we implore you to post a picture from whatever device you're using without explanation.”

I found the Blokee kit of my boy, Jeff!

I had a little accident with my Wartrakk last night and managed to break the banner pole off. Fortunately, I've got some styrene tubes that are the perfect size to help patch it up.

I've been messing with my Modulators again, building little bases etc, when I remembered that Astrotrain's caboose can connect to the ramps. But of course, I have no idea where I've stored it. It's not in the usual places where I store the extra weapons, etc. And it's not with Astrotrain either.

Got a sweet deal from a friend on some more Orks. Waaagh Badgutz is getting a little bigger....

I'm still, slowly, going through the original Star Trek series. I'm up to the first episode with Romulans, and I never knew that no one in Star Fleet knew what Romulans looked like!

This week's #Deskbot is the last Armorizer I needed to finish the set, Calcitron!
