Moving my studio out of my bedroom & into the living room, hoping this tears down an anxiety hurdle to recording But I live in a cozy 1 bedroom apartment so there's not much room to work with I put up this vinyl wall print when I first moved in, seems perfect for a yt video background?

My living room half-wall, entirely covered by a vinyl print of a beautiful bookshelf

Water is still invisible, also noticed lava is just black The floating nether portal is just unsettling

Black lava flowing into invisible water, still creates regular cobblestone

There's supposed to be lava overhead, this is somehow worse

This nether portal looks like it's floating in midair, but you can kinda see the water particles where the invisible water should be

It's a massive compliment that I can walk through the neighborhood and most dogs just kinda look at me, maybe I get a half-hearted woof But when literally ANYONE else walks through, it's pure bedlam and chaos I'm one of the pack, of the community pack 🤘

Low energy today Was still productive tho so that's a victory Weekend starts tomorrow at 9am, hoping to film my new video and start editing (no deadline for release, this is about creating new momentum) I broke down The Iron Giant to explain the storytelling mechanics beneath the magic ❤

I cannot get my camera to focus on the foreground instead of the background, like no matter what All I can do is sit close to the wall and try to fake it Reviving my old yt channel is about momentum not perfection, and I'm choosing to categorize this as "Room to Grow" 🤌

Tomorrow might be different I think I'm at a crossroads, in a positive sense I CRAVE a creative outlet, and I've never been able to turn off my brain when it comes to storytelling analysis, AND I already have a stalled YT channel on the topic.... And a finished script sitting there, waiting....

Felt pretty so Worked on the path btwn the current village and the wip manor estate just down the road It's a vibe (to me) I want to do nothing BUT lantern-lit forest trails now 😍🤓

Start of path to the left, cut off from a cliff by shrubs & hedges

Further along the path, the cherry tree sapling popped up PERFECT for to frame the trail

More cherry trees, looking back on the trail (my village is just to the right, behind the minecraft Spruce tree)

I have a similar complaint about zombifying villagers It doesn't make sense that this mechanic is under "Hard" when it makes the game significantly easier to manipulate villager trades "Hard" should eliminate zombifying, and "Hardcore" should eliminate totems That's TRUE difficulty leveling

Borderline unplayable I know there are mods that can fix this, but I still wish the vanilla fire effect was a screen-border thing instead of a foreground thing

Stand still and wait for it to be done, or keep mining and risk missing netherite
