Of course it is. Unrestrained capitalism is brutal. It is like nature. However, too much unnecessary regulation stifles growth and innovation. There should be additional taxes on large corporations that pay their CEOs over a certain percentage more than the average worker at that firm.

Of course, they can afford it. However, we really need to focus on why we need to have constant inflation. In the pre-Fed era, inflation was just 0.3 pct per year. Deficits were much smaller. In the last 100 years, inflation is 3 pct per year or 10x as high. We all pay for government deficits.
