oldmandazzle.bsky.social @oldmandazzle.bsky.social · 10/09/2026As you said, we likes what we like. But since I asked for the discourse, I’ll concede that Dark Side doesn’t align with the punk ethos. But I’ll take issue with the unimaginative remark, especially for 1973. It’s basically one continuous piece made of tape loops, sound effects, word fragments… 020
oldmandazzle.bsky.social @oldmandazzle.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Are you trying to get me to say that 30 million Ace of Base fans might also be wrong? Point conceded. I think I was hoping to get a more nuanced take on why DSotM doesn’t hit for you as someone that writes about music, especially since most of the responses you got were “Yeah, Pink Floyd sucks!” 110
oldmandazzle.bsky.social @oldmandazzle.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Having followed you for a little while, one could make the sarcastic overgeneralization that you don't like anything considered classic rock that wasn't made by a Beatle. 250 million Pink Floyd fans can't be wrong. That's my uneducated review of your thoughtful and insightful post. 110

oldmandazzle.bsky.social @oldmandazzle.bsky.social · 06/09/2026I want to give publicity to Horizons Music in Mendota, IL. Started as a bulk wholesaler. Tens of thousands of records still sealed from long ago. This isn’t the place to go to find Japanese imports, but everything in this picture cost less than $5, most about $2. #vinylcommunity #nowplaying #records 231
oldmandazzle.bsky.social @oldmandazzle.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I was just telling my daughter last week that I had a lunchbox as a kid with Martin Landau on it. This must have been the ad that pulled us in, because I don’t remember ever watching Space:1999. 010
