This dog does a great job of modeling for my kids that you don't have to be perfect to be loved.

Some wild things are going on in 12U softball stats.

More extra base hits than singles

As many hit by pitch as singles

I’m telling you whenever this guy writes about anything I know even a little about , it is a couple of not very well applied facts and a theoretical framework that doesn’t hold up to moment’s scrutiny.

My kid’s softball team still has a couple Super Bowl squares available if any of you want to mix your gambling with support of a (pretty obnoxious tbh) group of competitive young women. Comment or dm me interested

The cost is $25 per square.
Payouts are $250 for getting any of the first three quarters and $500 for the final score.

12U is HARD. Big progress on pitch selection but it now the outfielders catch the ball, sometimes even when she crushes it.

An 11 year old first year in 12U softball slashes .283/.450/.435

Maybe Kyle Harrison hasn’t figured out his secondaries if he doesn’t trust them enough to throw one to Javy Baez with the bases loaded.
