" My one and only, yes. " He chuckled, reaching up to cup Varka's face and guide him lower so he could steal a brief kiss.

Hm. I wonder where Master Illuga is at this hour. Hopefully, taking a break from work.

" Indeed. " Flins hummed, joining Illuga at his new fishing spot. He sat down on the ground, gazing at the ripples in the water, caused by the line that was thrown in to attract the fish. He had fished before. Back in the day ... Even if he couldn't technically eat the fish. +

Flins could definitely be considered elderly. He was a few centuries old, after all. But he never ate unless he needed to pretend in front of his comrades. It was rather exhausting at times. He'd have to force himself to eat something, which sometimes made him sick. His body was vastly different +

" If you wish. " Flins didn't mind. Going fishing meant more time with Illuga, which he would never turn down. Not in a million years. " I've had ample practice. " he chuckled. Which was the truth. " I'm glad my simple coffee is to your liking, Young Master. "

More like, he never slept. " I'd say I am. I like watching the sunrise. " he smiled, setting the cup down on the end table. " I'm afraid I don't have anything to eat though. "

Flins gave him another look that translated to 'i don't believe you'. His expression only softened when Illuga admitted the truth. " That explains why you seem so tired lately. They're just dreams, Young Master. Nobody is taunting you. " he shook his head. " Would you like me to stay with you +

The Fae's brows furrowed. " Master Illuga. " he sighed. " You know you can tell me anything, right ? " And he meant it. He cared about Illuga deeply and was pretty concerned. Not only by the younger man's expression, but also his reaction to being asked if something was bothering him.

Flins didn't buy it. He could see through Illuga's facade. Something was on his mind. Something unpleasant. He pursed his lips, staring at his own mug, before lifting his gaze to meet Illuga's whenever he looked up. " Are you quite sure ? It seems to me like something's on your mind. "

" I eat early, usually. It's a habit. " he explained, sharing more and more fake details about the life he'd built, blending in with humans. He still stuck out like a sore thumb, or so he thought. " We can still fish, so you can have a warm meal. " Flins nodded. +

" I guess you can say I'm an early bird as well. " the Fae smiled lightly, but it reached his eyes. " A cup of coffee would be nice right about now. " He poured himself a cup and set the pot aside. " Did you have a good night's rest ? "

" Ah. " Now that was inconvenient. How was he going to fool Illuga at a table where there were only the two of them ? The usual excuse was about to come out. " I'm afraid I've already eaten my share. But we can fish and prepare a meal for you, Young Master. " +

" I would not be opposed to that, Young Master. " Illuga was always welcome at the lighthouse. Flins just couldn't host him overnight, due to there only being one bed — an uncomfortable one at that. Fae didn't need sleep, after all. But humans did. It was better if the Young Master slet at the +

Flins appeared calm, as he examined Illuga's wounds. They weren't catastrophic, or life threatening, but they definitely needed to be cleaned and bandaged properly. The young man seemed to have bandaged himself and had done a poor job, which was why Flins had fussed earlier. +

" You want to stay at the lighthouse ? It might not be very comfortable. " Flins had a bed he never used properly, since he didn't need sleep. And it would be difficult to fake it, if Illuga was there. " Why don't we go to the Flagship and rent two rooms there ? The lighthouse +

" When was the last time you slept or ate ? " Flins asked, sighing. Illuga was known for overworking himself and not resting enough. But now that Flins was here, he would ensure the Young Master did something for himself, while the Fae dealt with those reports.

Flins followed the Young Master to the table, taking a seat. Then he pulled out a small package from one of his jacket's pockets. Inside was some fresh bread and cheese. Perfect for a light, but filling breakfast. It seemed he had thought of everything. +
