If you notice biblio.livtet.olamaelcu.net moving a little slow, it's because it's backimporting all of the known books from @openlibrary.org from a data dump! But you can watch it go up with me 😁

biblio.livtet.olamaelcu.net is an experimental #appview that: - indexes information about books - allows for authors to claim books Experimental is the truth; it's still going under active review.

Honey, we redesigned the profile page and made it ... greener?

The mobile app needs a Web twin. Still ironing out the profile. Going to seed it with stuff so it's a bit more visible

An experiment that'll tie into the desktop applications being brewed up is the means of distribution. This would be something similar to atcr.io but for end-user projects. I'm also considering Flatpak and RPM support but Brew and APT is in place.

Taking the cue from @lmaepa.blacksky.app's tips in blacksky.community/profile/did:...; now Livtet will provide examples (adding more) about what's being sent to Sentry (our third party processor for analytics). Eventually a link to livtet.olamaelcu.net (not up) will add more context and visuals!

Ignore the little visual issues here (I'm fixing them); how does this feel for a first-run, data collection request consent screen? I know most skip so I left some on.

The rules of the game (if you got suggestions, reply or e-mail them to lab@olamaelcu.net)!
How to Play

Join a lobby with 3 friends. Partners sit across from each other — North/South versus East/West. Bid how many tricks you'll take, then play cards trying to win tricks. Your partnership's combined bid determines your target. First to 500 points (or whatever the host sets) wins.
Rule Options

Pick from several rule presets or customize nearly every detail:

Standard — The classic version most people know. Nil bids allowed, 500 points to win.
Tournament — Stricter timing and bidding. Great for competitive matches.
NYC Rules — Street-style with jokers, faster games (first to 350), and no nil bids allowed.
Casual — Relaxed rules for fun games with friends. No bag penalties, longer turn timers.
Custom — Fine-tune everything from deck type to scoring rules.
