4/ Then the view key, for auditability. A confidential resource can have an optional view key. The holder can see balances but not spend them. The clever bit:consensus can verify the proof decrypts to the real value, without ever learning it. Auditors get honest visibility, numberscan't be faked.

3/ The revealed side is refreshingly simple. No cryptography hiding it, just plaintext on-chain. What keeps every transfer honest is the balance proof: total in = total out, no coins created or destroyed. Works on fully confidential transfers, and across both when amounts are revealed.

2/ The confidential side. How the Ootle hides an amount, three pieces: · Pedersen commitments lock the value (C = mask·G + value·H). Provably there, but invisible. · Bulletproofs+ range proofs prove it's valid without revealing it. · One-time stealth addresses hide the recipient.

3/ What I like about it: it's a real, working dApp on the Ootle, not a mockup. Testnets live or die on whether people actually build usable things on them. Seeing a functional launcher running on Esmeralda is a good signal for where the ecosystem is heading.
