Last night on the way home, I noticed this tree was horizontal as the enclosure around it had fallen over. I managed to remove the enclosure, and tree is now mostly upright, though it's having a tough time in the wind. Fingers crossed it survives, and doesn't get hit by a passing bus. #London

So even with all the windows open, and fans blowing air around, the temperature in my place only drops a degree or two overnight. I think it's less an air flow issue, and more the building retaining the heat. British buildings weren't built for heatwaves.
