It comes and goes in waves. The graphic depicts a rotation between "we're so back" and "it's so over".

Here's some more tips: Mainly I'd change black outlines to dark blue/purple. Blends better with the composition. (日本語で回答ができずごめん!)

For the white text over backgrounds, here's an example for the subtle drop shadow, makes it pop a little more.

New video/track is up! I've been playing The 7th Saga recently (yes, really) and the music feels at times so unique and otherwordly. No battle theme this time! Please enjoy 🌏

Today I learned about Kaeru no Ehon (The Frog Picture Book?) - Adventure for the Lost Memories, a seemingly obscure JRPG for the PS1 released in 1999 -- visually -mildly- reminiscent of Breath of Fire 3, of course there's no English translation 😛 Bold of them to use Comic Sans on the title screen!

Oops all battle themes! A deep cut from Chrono Trigger this time. I edited together my recreation of the old mockup screenshot that is basically the North American box art. Been meaning to make this one for a while.

Finally beat sci-fi RPG "Lagrange Point" (Famicom, 1991). An interesting game for sure, somewhat unique in that it was created through the project Game Kōbō, a partnership between Konami and Famicom Magazine to commemorate their 100th issue, allowing readers to participate in the game's creation.

Aaaaand it's gone! 😆 You can also notice the Keep and mountain it's sitting on are pushed further down the screen, cutting off part of the giant Bowser face.
The more familiar title screen for Super Mario RPG, featuring Exor the giant sword after it's crashed into Bowser's Keep.

Slotting issue with my Super Nt tonight. Got a blackout screen. As it's happened a few times before with various carts, I already knew my saves got wiped. A rare sight, however: A title screen without Exor. Normally you'd only see this when starting the game for the very first time, with no saves.
The title screen from Super Mario RPG for the SNES, lacking the presence of the sword Exor. It could normally only be seen when booting the game for the first time while there are no battery saves recorded yet.

Earlier this year we released Maker's Mark Legacy, a chaingame I took part in along with members of Gaming World, a RPG Maker community that's been around for quite some time. It's been real fun!
