😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

We need to tell EVERYONE because now I’m thinking back to every time I felt a tickling sensation on my ear while wearing my headphones. HOW LONG WAS IT IN THERE??

Noooooooo that is horrible!! 😭😭😭 I made the mistake of leaving them on my windowsill overnight which I used to do every night 🥲 Never ever again!!

WHAT NOOOOOOOOOOO THIS IS HORRIBLE 😭😭😭 I had no idea it was not an original experience and am mortified to learn that this is a thing that happens 💀

Just spreading the earwig trauma world wide 😭 I guess I’m glad I finally know the source 😂 The other thing that traumatised me as a kid was Batman Returns 1992 when the penguin bit someone’s nose and I was terrified by it for years. I recently told the penguin was played by Danny DeVito though 😂

Nooooooo omg 😭 I know my mum liked this show so so how it must have ended up in my subconscious, too 😅

😭😭😭 Idk if soneobe showed me this as a kid because i definitely had nightmares about this scenario

I met my friend’s cats yesterday, sent photos to someone else who thought they were my cats (last photo) 😂 Who else has the same set, a tabby and a black cat? I feel like it’s a common combo

I am always going to be checking my headphones after this. I didn’t even know that was a thing that could happen 😭

011

He should have checked his headphones 😭😭😭

I’m gonna need ya’ll the check your headphones because the WORST thing has happened to me. I put mine on this morning and felt something on my ear, naturally panicked, pulled them off, wiped my ear and an EARWIG WENT FLYING ACROSS THE ROOM 💀

Nori licked my headphones twice and paused my podcast 😭😂

If anyone sees any “don’t feed the birds” signs before Friday (Australia, so Thursday for anyone else) and you take like 5 seconds of video of one and send it to me I would be eternally grateful

There was literally a huge huntsman on my ceiling above me so that’s exactly what I thought it was

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

Just like migratory birds return after the winter, I, too have returned. To T2 because they have free tea samples again now and I’m gonna drink them.

I was about to go to bed but Nashi was hunting something. She somehow managed to turn the lamp off and while in complete darkness the thing she was hunting decided my leg was the best place to be. That was terrifying 🥲 Luckily it was a tiny gecko that is safe and sound in a takeaway container

SAGE is over and it’s time for the South Australian Games Industry Awards 🥳

I have started leash training Nashi as she cries at the door while Nori is outside in the garden. So far she has: - Tried to eat a bee - Run at another cat while puffed up - Completely justified my decision to put her on a leash

They actually brought it up before me which was nice 😂

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 28/01/2026

I’m so glad! I really thought it was out of warranty already but I was willing to quote consumer law 😂

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 28/01/2026

It was so bad! Two 40+ days, one 36 day and then another 40 plus day 😭 But I’m so glad my MacBook can be fixed for free

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 28/01/2026

It was 46 degrees Celsius and my laptop melted??? I think?? I didn’t even have it running 😭 I took it to get fixed and was quoted $1200 but then found out my warranty expires NEXT MONTH SO IT WAS FREE 🎉

She and Nori are starting to get along which is very cute to see

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

We have 3 right now, Nori, Hokkaido and Nashi who is the foster kitten. Hokkaido is a bit timid so I don’t bother her with photos too much

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Yeah, you’re very right! It’s so hard when they’re sick and there’s nothing you can do. We miss her a lot but the other cats are finally acting a bit more like themselves again which is good to see.

This is bound to be a foster fail but I do my best to

Sometimes my job is trying out Chatime’s latest promotions. I love making a bubble tea game 🧋💖

On the weekend we lost Nara to cancer. Everyone in the house will miss her so much. It took a long time to gain that little cat’s trust and bring her inside but I’m glad we could give her a nice home for the last part of her life.

I’m trying to cancel my gas because I moved and I called the wrong number and got a different company 😭 He still helped me though 😂

Yessss this is what the water looks like!

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 30/10/2025

Lush is discontinuing my favourite bath bomb 😭 But they gave me one for free which was very sweet. If you want to feel like your bath is as nice as the water in the bathhouse from Spirited Away I recommend trying Lakes before they’re all gone 🥲

I had one of the most exciting and successful meetings today and it happened while I was wearing my vintage sun/moon dressing gown that has been referred to by those I have lived with as my “wizard cloak” and just I think working from home is a beautiful thing

I didn’t even know Coles had a radio station. Where’s Woolies? I thought this was a duopoly

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 17/10/2025

I think that happened when we started reversing and it stopped so the truck could beep, then blasted Coles radio the moment we stopped reversing like some sick jump scare

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 17/10/2025

Like some kind of supermarket themed purgatory, the truck I’m in won’t stop playing the Coles radio station no matter what we do

I have no idea. I heard her walk in and I said “don’t look in the” I was going to say bag but she screamed 😅 Yeah, no spider advent calendars for me

Em 🔜 Gamescom @okayosprey.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

All I remember is a snake at school shed and for some reason I asked for the skin, I think I just wanted to look at it? I remember putting it on the bench and thinking “if my mum sees it she’ll scream” and then “it’s fine, I’ll remember to move it”. I did not remember
