Dietrich is spiritually a Bylitza baby to me because he may be a murderous Lamine man, but he ALSO has a dragon lady who’s obsessed with him for Freudian reasons.

Glad I’m not the only one 😭 Took me all of my divine sand to realize you can make him waste a turn performing a magic AOE attack on your high res units if you group them together. Hardest part 1 so far.

#fefwspoilers Alright, how depressing is Leda’s route? I was intending to go straight to her part 1 after Dietrich’s part 2, but Fabio becoming suicidal genuinely messed with me… Maybe I should go be a pokemon trainer in Cai’s route instead.

a digital drawing I made of Dietrich and Fabio from Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave. Dietrich is facing left, flourishing his sword Answerer while his cape flutters. Fabio is facing right and casting Miasma.

Also, I really like the idea of the relic weapons being at least somewhat sentient. Answerer, you are your own character to ME.

marty 🍵 @okapiandpaste.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Dietrich is going to become a potential man for me because if more emphasis was put on his emotional attachment to and potential humanization of the Answerer, his arc (and that one Fabio reveal) would’ve hit harder.

Although, I’d still recommend going back to chapter 8 for Dietrich’s route if have the time a) because the optional scenes are good & b) if you want the upgraded version of Answerer.

If you play part 2 there is a mechanic where you can get all your underleveled units up to the base level of the current chapter with the click of a single button BTW.

I have to finish the Ferdinand getting poisoned fic first, but FEFW is making me want to write about the shadow war using all the new mind-blowing lore. Let’s trap Hubert, Jeritza, and Byleth in an existenstial torment nexus 🥰

The lock has different text than usual. It’s “you haven’t reached the requirements” instead of “you cannot view in this part”. (It might be the reverse where you have to do it before a certain chapter.)

Ok TY 😭 I never found out how to unlock Lysander & Lilian’s B, so I got nervous that I’d inevitably miss something else.

Does anyone know what the prerequisite for unlocking the Fabio/Dietrich B support is?

Surely, my copy of Fortune’s Weave being shipped on Thursday from a city only 2 hours away means it will also arrive within the same day… Right?
