I don’t think LEGO’s are as popular as they used to be. They’re definitely trying to branch out to the adults who have nostalgia for the product. They’re still do make sets for kids but even those are pretty pricey now. ($50 for like a decent set now)

Not bad games but the DLCs are questionable. I remember finding the Star Wars character packs pretty disappointing because they didn’t add anything new gameplay wise and didn’t include voice acting like vanilla game did. Fun to 100% though.

I think it depends on well the game is written because most games that get slandered I feel lack in narrative but the games that have a great narrative get a pass even if checks all the same boxes. It just easier to rip on what consumers may consider a lesser product. It’s a pattern I’ve noticed.

The issue with new games like Highguard is that you’re now competing in a market dominated by several games. To maintain a player base you’d have to get players who are dedicated to one game to switch to your game. Very rarely does that ever work out.
