🚨RSA can get broken faster than expected - cryptographers are calling for quantum-resistant encryption. Brilliant write-up of a very technical topic by @dangoodin.bsky.social: arstechnica.com/security/202... PQC migration is even more urgent. ➡️ Check how Tuta protects you: tuta.com/encryption

There's a new way to break RSA that's faster than anything we've seen before
Until now, cryptographers thought factoring was the only way to break RSA. Not anymore.

SoraSNS for iOS seems to be the go for a good Mastodon/Misskey/Bsky/Nostr client 👀

If the regular client is a bit too much, might I suggest @openvibe.social? I use it and it allows more focus/streamlined timeline/home.

You can install @openvibe.social for the best bsky/masto/nostr/threads experience 👀👀

Openvibe still is the best multiple network app to use. 😍

Openvibe is probably the best client I've used. All these systems, one nice and neat app. Just beautiful.

Normally my domains through namecheap used to be like $11 USD each now they're $19-$21 USD each. Namesilo I've paid $15 USD for the first year and it's stayed around that price for a while. 😎

I've switched from Namecheap to Namesilo cause their prices were getting ridiculous 🥴🙃

@bsky.app can you spin up a PDS in Brisbane or Sydney, Australia? Heck I'd even be happy for one in Singapore 😅

What I don't like is....my provider here is "investing in" anti spam measures.....that seem to have given up. Cause really obvious spam texts have gotten through. 🥴🥴

I remember when MySpace allowed username@myspace.com as emails. And back on an old iteration of Facebook, the same. username@facebook.com, however you could only receive emails, not send.

A small quality-of-life update went out tonight (0.3.3 if that's your jam). The notable update is the introduction of the domain prefix field in advanced invitation options. This allows an invitation to include a subdomain when adding handles.

Ahoy! The scammers are here! I woke up to this old chestnut, and since Bluesky is pretty new, I thought it might be helpful to show y'all how this one works. A scammer will reach out for work, and it'll be really vague - a piece of his kid, or suddenly four, it doesn't matter, he doesn't care.
