Welp. This one is going to haunt me for a while.

In the face of so many conflicting ex-pectations arising from events such as these, I remain unclear who I am, who I would be if I were just left to my own devices. I wonder whether it is possible to exist as a person at all without measuring yourself against others. I wish sometimes that I was strong enough to be my-self in company without company turn-ing me into something else. I wonder who that person would be, and am sometimes grateful never to find out.

It is one of these two. Different dogs, 15 years apart on very very different levels of camera. The first is Fenric going along with my child's antics in covering him with fish. The second is Vastra ready to pay as much attention as possible in case there is a reward.

Yes, but I think I am still technically correct. When I go to American Airlines (the first airlines I thought of) and look to book an actual flight here is the fastest it give me. The combined "travel time" (not sure if that is air time or in plane time but either way .. .) is well over 10 hours.
