Perfect pretzel of snuggling kittens (Frankie and Finn). I honestly don't understand how Finn could possibly be comfortable here. How is his neck not aching? Is this some kind of fall-asleep wrestling move? 😸 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Ginger kitten Frankie and tabby kitten Finnegan were introduced to each other only a month ago, and they’ve since become an inseparable bonded pair. In this photo, they are snuggled up sleeping together on a cute cat blanket. But it's no ordinary snuggle. Both kittens have ridiculously long legs, and they're showing them off to the max here. Frankie is on the left, curled into a 'C' shape, with one of her back legs stretched over Finn's neck. Finn is also in a 'C' shape, on the right, but with his head under Frankie's back leg, putting him into an almost full circle, which looks crazy uncomfortable - but it's clearly not to him. One of his front paws is sticking out to the side, crossed over both his back legs, which are sticking straight out of front of him, and he's using them almost as a pillow. The best part about this photo is that their combined silhouette forms an almost perfect heart shape. Truly a fitting image for the love that they share for each other.

Frankie is recovering from her spay in the most adorable fashion. But also... look at them frickin' long-ass legs!! I swear she's part cheetah or something. 😸 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of our ginger kitten Frankie, sound asleep on her side, with her ridiculously long legs stretched out in front of her. Her face is one of absolute contentment - she clearly doesn't mind wearing the collar that she's required to wear for a bit, until her spay incision heals. We replaced the boring original medical collar they sent her home with, with one that looks like a pink donut with sprinkles on it, and it suits her perfectly.

Say hi to Finnegan! He needed a home, and our Frankie needed someone her age, and upon meeting, they fell in love. Turns out that the universe brought him to us for a reason, as he's a special needs cat, and we're the kind of people who will move heaven and earth for our cats. 😻 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Finnegan, a 7 month old gray/white tabby kitten with pure white socks for back feet, lies comfortably on a fluffy white cat bed in front of a frosted glass window. He looks directly at the camera with bright green eyes, head slightly tilted, and his front paws stretched out in front of him.

A box is but a shadow of a box if its existence is not being truly completed by a cat satiating its sturdy walls. #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Our 11 year old gray boy named Oz sits curled up inside a perfectly sized cardboard box, looking directly at the camera with wide green eyes. He rests on a colorful floral-patterned rug beside a green cat toy, with part of a cat tree visible in the background. Oz loves his boxes, and makes sure to check out every new box that enters the house to make sure it meets his high quality standards.

The elusive meerCat looks out over its natural habitat (the bedroom). This is kitten Frankie in one of her many crazy poses. 😻 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Our 5 month old ginger kitten Frankie sits upright on our bed with her front paws lifted, looking attentively to the left. In the distance, not in the photo, is her brother causing a ruckus with some cat toys. The pose is very similar to the typical upright attentive pose of the meerkat. Sunlight streams through the window blinds behind her, illuminating her markings and long whiskers, making her look even more adorable.

As ginger above, so ginger below (5 month old Frankie above, 13.5 year old Loki below). 😻 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

A 5 month old ginger female kitten named Frankie stands on top of a rustic kitchen table, looking down toward a 13.5 year old ginger male cat named Loki, who looks up at the camera from the tiled floor. Several cardboard boxes and a blue cardboard scratcher are scattered around them, clearly evidence that this is a house of crazy cat people.

I used to really enjoy building these cardboard cat playhouses. In the past, I've found them to be a fun, easy, relaxing activity. Well... then along came this little demon hobgoblin, and now things are a bit more... challenging. 😸 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

A ginger kitten named Frankie pokes her head and one paw through the triangular doorway of a witch-themed playhouse, mouth open as if trying to bite the builder of the playhouse. The playhouse has a dark blue roof, rustic wood-style walls, and handmade signs, including one warning “No Stinky Bad Dog!” in front.

There have been some sad days this year, but I feel like today might be the saddest. The universe is severely out of balance right now, because losing Dolly is the equivalent of losing about 10,000 good souls wrapped in one.

Orange cats are usually male. Usually, but not always. It turns out that we have one of the "not always" ones. So say hello to Frankie!... or "Miss Frances" when she's misbehaving, which is most of the time. 😻 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of a 5 week old ginger female kitten named Frankie. She's inside her own personal enclosure that we made for her, full of toys, plushies and stimulating things, until such time that she's old enough to integrate with the other cats in the house. She's climbing the side of her enclosure in the photo, looking straight up at the camera, with her perfect sad kitten eyes that haven't gotten their adult color yet. It's a face of pure joy, and endless curiosity.

Well, we've got some extra meows in the house, from this little one. He's 1 week old here. Apparently his mama had 7 babies, disappeared with 6 of them and left him behind, so we took him in. He's doing great. Not sure what the future holds, but for now, he's part of the family. #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of a tiny orange one week old kitten that I'm holding in my hand. He's got fuzzy fur, tiny ears, and eyes that are just barely starting to open. We tried to find a rescue that could take him in, but none could respond immediately, so he's with us now. He's doing great though, and has had zero problems with bottle feeding.

Photo of a tiny orange one week old kitten curled up on a pink blanket that has paw prints on it. He just fed, and is on his way to falling asleep. He's quite the feisty, noisy little thing! But he also sleeps super hard.

...I couldn't resist snapping this photo, and always knew I'd figure out something awesome to do with it someday. He's been gone for many years now, lost way too young, but he lives in our hearts forever, and I'm so happy I made him a part of Ogdimora forever. The second photo is him grown up. 😻

Thank you so much for posting this. ❤️ The gremlin on the cover was named D'Argo, and he was quite the gremlin-looking kitten! This image came from a photo we took of him when he was wee, as he had a skin condition that required us to bathe him. He HATED it, as you could imagine, but I couldn't...

I'm Gen X, so the answer is... NONE. We were taught to solve our problems by telling absolutely no one, and then hating ourselves, because it was obviously all our fault, and then additionally abusing various substances to make it OK. That, and making our hair really big and listening to metal. 🤘 🤣

The movie "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" isn't exactly a great movie. It's fun though, especially if you like family adventure. But there's one line from the movie I LOVE. Michael Caine's character says "Music is nature's painkiller" ...and I'm like... yeah... like, eff yeah. I love that line.

Photo of our tortie cat Gracie, one of Prudence's kids, when she was still a kitten. She's sitting inside a red mixing bowl... yeah I know, weird, but it's what we would put them in when we were still weighing them, after they got too big to fit on the scale. She's in a sitting position, but sprung up, and her left paw is fully extended, like she's about to whack the camera... or perhaps the photographer. She's a feisty little diva, after all.

Back to back gotcha days in our house! Today's gotcha day is brothers Thor and Loki. For over 12 years now, they've shared with us the most amazing bond, like nothing I've seen before. Truly BFFs that were meant to spend their lives together. They are such a happy place for me.😻 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of ginger brothers Thor and Loki. Thor is long hair and Loki is short hair. When we first met them, they were about to be adopted separately, and we were the only ones who saw Loki's face when they took his brother away. He was devastated. At that moment, we told the rescue place that we want them both, and please try to get that other person interested in another cat besides Thor. And they did. The brothers have been part of our lives since before they were even a year old, and even after all these years, they show us regularly that we did right by them. I couldn't imagine our house without them.

Happy Cheeseburger Day! Today is Beezle's gotcha day - the most charismatic cat I've ever known. A feisty, hissy kitten, the only thing I had to win her over was a vending machine cheeseburger. 😸 Today we share happy memories, fancy cheeseburgers & celebrate her glorious life. ❤️ #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of Beezle the very first time I met her. She's lying down under a bush, stretched out on her side, eyes partially closed, trying to find some escape from the brutal August Texas heat.

Photo of our calico cat named Adorabeezle Winterpop - a.k.a. Beezle - when she was a kitten, wrestling with a stuffed T-Rex toy that was as big as her. She adored that T-Rex. It was her constant companion. The photo is captioned - across the top it says "RAWR! I'm mightier than a T-Rex! RAWR!!!"

Photo of Beezle on a cat exercise wheel. She paused from running briefly, allowing this photo to be taken. She took to the exercise wheel like it was in her blood, constantly having the time of her life running on it.

Photo of Beezle the cat sticking out of a Christmas tree, very near the top. She's perfectly relaxing, looking out the front window of our house which is out of view of the photo. Christmas trees were glorious playgrounds to her. No tree was safe from her climbing.

"Raining Stars" This design is really special. The featured cat is Jack. We took him in when he lost his home at 5 y/o, and he became our 1st "foster failure". He lived a long and glorious life w/us - the bestest best bud cat ever. If you're interested in buying, let me know. #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

A combined image, showing a photo our black cat named Jack, and the t-shirt design I created from the photo. The photo is a silhouette of Jack - he's chilling on a brown poof, with sun coming in from the giant window behind him, creating a perfect silhouette. Jack was an amazing Jack. Honestly, more "best bud" than cat, always just hanging out with us, and wanting to be wherever we were. His life was long, and full of joy. I'm so happy to finally have a shirt to commemorate his wonderful existence.

"Pease Do Not The Cat" Probably the most unflattering picture I've ever taken of Loki... so, naturally, I had to put it on a shirt! 😅 The open mouth addition came from a photo of his brother! If you're interested, links where to buy are below. Every sale supports our babies 💯 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

A combination photo of our cat named Loki; the shirt I created from the image, titled "Please Do Not The Cat" next to the original photo that the shirt came from. In the photo of Loki, he's sitting on a couch, on his butt, sort of like a human. His belly is facing the camera, back legs sticking out weirdly, front paws propped up, supporting his "sitting up" position. I think he was actually grooming at the time, but I had the camera, saw this pose, and went "LOKI!", and he looked up at me (because he knows his name), thus I snapped this glorious photo. This was taken several years ago, when he was still overweight, making his proportions look even more ridiculous. Since this photo, he's lost about 5 lbs! Though an old man now, and he's been fighting intestinal lymphoma for nearly 2 years now, but regardless, he's still our most perfect, silly ginger, forever blessed with the heart of a kitten. Our lives are truly better with him in it.

Photo of our diluted calico cat named Bug, sprawled out on our kitchen counter. While some counters are not used for food, so the cats can be on them no problem, this is not one of those counters, and I'm sure she knows it. By the look in her eyes though, you can tell that she doesn't really care about our silly human rules.

There's a new baby bun in our back yard. It's barely 3 in long, and I'm in love. There's probably others. Well, they all kinda look the same, so it's probably not the same bun every time. Regardless, I shall name it... Henrietta. When the world is dark, it helps to find light in the simplest things.

Photo of a very tiny baby cotton tail bunny, out in our back yard. We've had bunnies making their home under our back patio for many years now, and I've done everything I can to make sure our back yard is a safe space for them. This baby bunnies' sighting has helped me feel like I've maybe done a decent job.

Mrs. Bun has quite the camouflage. She chills like this nearly every day, in front of the big tree in our back yard. I can go outside, and she looks up at me as if to say "'sup?"... and then just goes right back to chillin'. Love her. Her and her family call our yard "home", and I'm so here for it.

Image of one of the cotton tail rabbits that lives in our back yard. Based on my research, it's the Mama. She's chilling out in front of our big tree, laying down, ears back, eyes partially closed, looking like a really happy, chill rabbit. And she should be - she lives with her family under our patio. I don't know for sure, but given the time that has passed, I'm pretty sure multiple generations have called the safety of our back yard "home". And as long as I live here, they will always and forever be welcome and protected.

Today we wish a happy Bugalicious 7th birthday to our most perfect marshmallow princess, and most photogenic cat ever, BUG! The 2nd image is all the shirts I've made so far from her crazy doings and poses (with lots more to come!) Happy birthday, you most perfect crazy Bug! 😻 #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Dual image of our diluted calico cat named Bug. The left image is of her shortly after we took her in, at just a few weeks old - we took her to her first vet appointment in a picnic basket! The right image is adult Bug being held by her mother (my wife) while wearing a cute frilly blue dress. Bug is looking straight at the camera, belly also towards the camera, and she kind of looks like a tiny human in a cat costume instead of an actual cat.

A collage image of all the t-shirt designs I've created so far from images of Bug. There are six in total so far, with many more to come I'm sure. From top left, clockwise, the names of the shirts are:
Heat Beam Eye Blast
Feline Overlord
Become Chaos
Zen Cat
Embrace Your Inner Demon
Parkour Cat

Big McLargeHuge... Dirk Hardpeck... Slab Beefcake... LUMP CRABMEAT #MST3k #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of a can of lump crab meat... with the post done in the style of Mystery Science Theater 3000, heard in my head as "LUMP CRABMEAT". This is an blatant reference to the MST3k episode of the movie "Space Mutiny". Making the post even better is Gracie the cat right behind the can, looking at it like she REALLY wants to know what's inside that can. FYI, she didn't get to eat what's in the can, because it's not good for her, but she did get some really tasty cat treats as a "thank you" for posing for my photo.

I remember those. I always wanted one too. I was in my early 30s in 2003, and had nowhere near that kind of budget. So I always ended up building my own "budget" PCs, and painting and decorating cheap-ass cases to try and make them look cool.

Sad at every level. This is one of the reasons my wife and I never go to protests together. We need to make sure one of us remains behind to take care of our cats in case something bad happens. Nothing is safe anymore, so make sure you have a plan in place for your pets.

FYI: just looked this up. Make sure you get consent. It seems ridiculous to try to get consent while someone is getting cuffed but that's what you have to do. Pets are legally considered property of their owner, not living things, so they have no rights. Call your city's Animal Control agency first.

you need your neighbor's consent to adopt their pet if your neighbor is taken away by ICE

Good assessment. My taste is an age thing. I discovered BM back in the 90s when I was on IRC all the time. Pre-social media, lots of EU folks there, helped me discover so much. When I heard the likes of early Dimmu and Borknagar, I fell in love. Nowadays, I love BM elements blended with other stuff.

Baby Gracie says "hi!" Photo from 2016 - she's 2 weeks old here, eyes freshly opened, beginning to discover the universe around her for the very first time. I find such joy in these photos of their kittendom, as they are faces of absolute purity and wonder. #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of our tortie cat Gracie when she was just 2 weeks old. She's peeking out over the edge of the box that we kept all of Prudence's kittens in, until they were old enough to explore beyond that. Prudie was a great mama, and spent most of the time in the box with her babies, doing what all good mamas do. Gracie's eyes had just recently opened, a mere days before this photo, so she's just discovering the amazing universe around her. We kept her of course, as well as Mama Prudence and all the rest of her kids, so we've had the most amazing privilege of watching them go from their very first breath to the wonderful, crazy characters they've become today. They have all truly blessed us.

Cat comfort level: beyond comprehension (Yes, the claw is stuck in the couch, and yes, she's sound asleep) #Cats #CatsOfBlueSky

Photo of our diluted calico cat named Bug, sprawled out on the couch. Her back feet are stretched out towards the camera on the couch itself, while her front half is stretched out to the left across a toppled pillow. The claw of one of her front paws appears to be stuck into the arm of the couch, stretching that particular leg out to full length. Somehow though, this is comfortable for her, as she's sound asleep.
