This feels like punching someone in the face, then saying “I don’t wanna fight, bro” Height of arrogance

Calling all archivists! We are looking to document the 343 Sparkast podcasts that were released around 2011, though are currently missing archived audio for episodes 1-3, 7, 8, 13, & 15. If you have, or know of, a backup of these podcasts anywhere, please get in touch!

Confession time: I have a really hard time getting past the second iteration of anything. Like, episodes, series, progress reports, you name it. Lmk if anybody has a term for that

Hey @xbox.com please don’t be mad that I keep using the cloud to log into Halo Infinite every ten minutes I’m using it for references on my laptop, and I can’t move my mouse cause I got paint on my hands 😅

I'm sorry for raining on this parade, but the "transgender mice" talking point is bullshit, but not because someone mistook "transgenic" for "transgender." The blog post that kicked it off (from a partisan bullshit website) listed a number of papers testing the effects of sex hormones on animals.

A bit of solace I’m telling myself this morning, maybe itll help you too: No state built on misinformation can succeed. Sure, people can lie and cheat and gain power in the short term, but lying does not change the reality of the world. It merely postpones our discovery of the truth.

The first draft of the script is done Ngl, I felt crazy finishing it. I’d been typing almost non-stop all weekend, so not working on it anymore feels weird tbh Halo lore nerds are gonna be eatin well

If you are thinking about making a Spartan suit, I HIGHLY recommend Skookum’s files. They’re modular, adaptable, and are attached with bolted hard points for easy swapping. Loving working with his Mk VII already 🔥

I had a Ukrainian co-worker who I worked with remotely at the beginning of the war. Almost every day he would talk about hearing Russian bombing in the distance. His only priority was getting his family to safety. Heard last night that he’s immigrated to the US now. 💚

Mark my words: one day I’ll start up a killer game studio. No shareholders trying to maximize profits, no stupid layoffs to “recoup costs”. We will thrive off of passion, stability, and respecting the people who make the games we live for.

Update! The Marines, hopeful they're not the only survivors of the Fire and Ice, have designated their location as Recovery Base 1.

Good morning everyone! We had our first bit of conflict overnight, in which Oli Lingard was bit on the foot by a chinchilla. Oli is confident the situation is handled.

Spartan 052 @ofivetwo.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Look at our little guys, ready to take on the world! I'll update ya'll on their progress. Currently shelter, water, and food are the big three. Hopefully the brutes don't have our scent yet.

130

Spartan 052 @ofivetwo.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

LOL I DIDNT EVEN REALIZE Not only are Whitney and Dmitri divorced, but OLI IS ACTUALLY DMITRI'S FATHER I'm making it canon that Dmitri doesn't know and thinks his father is dead.

Oli Lindgard 💉 Once on track to become a world-class surgeon, an explosive mishap left Oli scrambling for a new start. Part of the maintenance crew aboard the Fire and Ice, Oli's medical talents are as sharp as always. Doesn't like waiting around.

Dmitrius Orelius 🔪 A war veteran. Dmitri has lost almost everyone close to him through violence, and is resolved never to open up again. He keeps to himself, keeps his head down, and has sharpened his skills to keep his mind busy. His talent with knives has translated to being an excellent cook.

Now to introduce our cast of characters! Selected from a randomly generated pool - Whitney Cervantes 🧪 A Navy Scientist working diligently aboard the UNSC Fire and Ice. A talented theoretic geneticist, Halsey had taken great interest in their work. Could their smooth talking cover a hidden agenda?

Spartan 052 @ofivetwo.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

we got a crazy amount of mods on this bad boi, and for our story we're gonna say our brave Marines have crash-landed on a fringe planet being invaded by the Covenant (theyre the purple ones lol)

120

Spartan 052 @ofivetwo.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Here's the scenario we're workin with! For those unfamiliar, Rimworld basically starts your survivors off from a crash landing and you gotta survive and eventually make your way back to space. 3 marines crashing on an alien planet. Very Robinson Crusoe

Spartan 052 @ofivetwo.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Heya kids! I've been playing a LOT of #rimworld recently (fantastic game btw), and I figured it might be fun to have a playthrough with you guys! So without further ado - HALO RIMWORLD The thread on this bad boy is gonna be HUGE lol
