// I'm going to try my best to get all my stuff around this place caught up either this evening or tomorrow. I greatly apologize and thank you for your patience. It's been a week thus far and it ain't over yet.

Well now, that is a surprising reaction. Not just the words but also the expression and the physical stance taken. A brow raised as a hint of a smirk forms. "What are you going to do, beat them up?" Cue a light chuckle. The thought does amuse her. "I'm certain that I'll have a few choice --

- As Jen eats and takes a sip of tea here and there she'd listen to her father and what he has learned. Before countering she'd swallow a bite and chase it with some of her tea. "Why do you think that I returned with a broken stiletto? He tried to come after me, so I defended myself." A little --

"I'm actually surprised that you are willing to try it." She would then ready both cups with her favorite tea and lets them steep for a couple of minutes before presenting the tray. For her it's just sugar added to her cup before picking it up on a saucer along with the other cucumber sandwich. -

Don't. Do not plant ideas in her head. "That would be great! Maybe we could get some of your former companions and have a bit of a reunion party." Too late. Jen would go over to the console and press a couple of buttons and flip some of the switches.

"Please say that you have Ozzy Osborne. And Guns and Roses. Maybe also Buddy Holly..?" When the multicolored lights come on she grins from ear to ear. "She gets more beautiful every time. I love it!"

000

Jenny Sigma (RP Acct) @offshootdrskid.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Giggling, she would be hot on his heels to head into the ship. Jenny stopped dead in her tracks and looks like a cat that caught the canary. "A jukebox? No way!!" Really? That's what catches her eye? "What tunes do you have on it?"

000

Jenny Sigma (RP Acct) @offshootdrskid.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

"Ooooh I dunno, maybe for you to say Allons-y?" Jen is grinning right back but it falters. "Wait, do you still say that?"

Jenny Sigma (RP Acct) @offshootdrskid.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

"You owe me, by the way. An adventure and some running. Just saying!" She quips with a grin.

Returning the hug, she gives him a small squeeze. A way of saying 'I love you in every timeline'. "I know. Don't ask me how, but I do." It seems that they both have changed and not just the faces.

000

Jenny Sigma (RP Acct) @offshootdrskid.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

"You'd better be, because I already lost you once." Her voice is quieter, more reserved. Jenny truly couldn't lose her father again.

"Well if I can't die then neither can you."
