Microsoft acknowledges the issue and promises a fix, but it won't appear soon. The fix can be coded in PowerShell (but is a bit of a hack) and involves creating a new online meeting, attaching the Exchange calendar event to it, and updating various settings. Microsoft will do a better job - in ime.

If you transfer meeting ownership for a Teams online event, the Teams details are not changed. This means that the transferred calendar event points to a Teams online event that the new organizer cannot manage. Recordings for the event end up in the wrong place, as do attachments... It's a mess.
