Really excited about the next book in the Off Color Book Club. I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman is a post-apocalyptic dystopian novel that explores themes of identity, femininity, solitude, and community.

A long Belgian brewing tradition, we look forward every year to brewing a special “printemps” saison to celebrate the arrival of spring. Taking inspiration from our favorite pollinators, we brewed this springtime honey saison alongside the National Honey Board.

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

BEElieve it! We just got word that Ah-Choo!!, our spring saison with lemon blossom honey, bee pollen, and koji inoculated rice, not only won a gold medal in the Belgian-Style Ale Category but also took Best in Show at the 2026 Honey Beer Competition. #honeybeercompetition

Packaged yesterday, 750 bottles and draft are fresh and very hop forward and we’d recommend drinking now to enjoy that hoppiness rather than cellaring (we also have vintage Space Tiger in 250ml bottles that very nicely show the effect of time on brett).

110

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Bigger, bolder, and striped for camouflage, Space Tiger is a super saison - the larger cousin of our lion based saisons, fermented with Brett. Viciously dry hopped with a blend of Galaxy and Sterling results in a melange of citrus, perfume, and jungle appropriate tropical notes.

100

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Nothing better than sitting outside and looking at the stars and drinking a fresh Space Tiger! Our galactic traveler has returned in 750ml bottles for the first time since 2020.

The Beer for Tacos family is growing!! This one doesn’t need much explanation. Beer for Tacos, our margarita inspired gose, is one of our most popular brands and you may have noticed, we’ve been trying out some new variants the last couple of years.

If you missed our press conference Thursday, we have a new beer that pairs perfectly with today’s Bears pre-season opener at Soldier Field. Beer for Dealing with Relocation is our new Northern Indiana-style wheat beer with a big addition of hops & a bigger addition of betrayal.

The creamy wheat body holds the huddle of flavors together to offer you a brief distraction from corporate handouts and profound betrayal. NOW AVAILABLE on tap and in 4pks to-go at Mousetrap. And, much like the Bears, soon to be available outside of Chicago.

050

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

This one pours hazier than a 1988 playoff game and as bitter as the rivalry with our northern neighbors. An uncomfortable amount of Falconer's Flight & Amarillo hops added directly to the fermenter, throws go routes of nectarine jam, brite citrus, green melon, mango, & pineapple.

171

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Bears made an announcement today. Indiana sort of but not really yet. Well we have our own real announcement. Just in time for the Chicagoish Bears pre-season opener at Soldier Field this Saturday, Beer for Dealing with Relocation is our new Northern Indiana-style wheat beer.

1204

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

And then there’s the super special new beer on draft & to-go that evening. Brewed in collaboration with Superdawg, Dressed* is a blend of native fermented wild ale aged in wine barrels with tangerine peel and Belgian style Blonde ale aged in Blackberry Brandy barrels.

131

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

And did we mention that there will be t-shirts? This sweet new collab pocket t (ignore the fact that there’s no pocket in the mock up) from Custom Colors will first be available that night at Mousetrap and then eventually online and at Superdawg Wheeling.

131

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

You get a pour of Beer for Superdawg and you Keep the Glass and we do $5 refills all night. Simple, right? Maybe there will be one thing different. The first two hundred people will get a Superdawg sample with their glass.

Our third variant in the Yuzu Fierce trilogy is inspired by a popular Japanese condiment, Yuzu Kosho paste. We take our base Berliner Weiss and give it a hit of yuzu, salt, and shishito peppers. The end result is a little tart and citrusy, a little spicy, and a lot refreshing.

000

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Inspired by the German tradition of serving Berliner Weisse with a shot of fruit juice, Blueberry Yuzu Fierce is a fresh twist on our acidic wheat beer. Pumped with blueberry juice, it pours deep ruby red & has notes of blueberry lemonade Italian ice with a cleansing tart finish.

100

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

All the Yuzus are now available at the taproom in 4pks to-go! Yuzu Fierce is batch soured with our house Lactobacillus strain before being pasteurized & fermented with farmhouse ale yeast. Post fermentation, yuzu & calamansi are added to the fermenter for a quick refermentation.

170

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

A couple of recent merch favorites are back in stock!! These baby blue hot dog mouse hats and the Off Color playing cards are both back in stock online and at the taproom. If that’s not enough, we have these sweet new Bean tin tackers (measuring 18” across).

Mousetrap Bottle release!! For a little while now we’ve been hand stamping all of our small batch, Mousetrap exclusive beers, but our fingers started to hurt and since we don’t have a psychotic orderly forcing us to hand stamp our bottles, we were like, wait, we don’t have to do this.

2141

Off Color Brewing @offcolorbrewing.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Yes. We’re open. Before you ask. Nope. Still don’t have televisions at the taproom. Even for the biggest game in the history of American soccer. A brewery’s gotta have a code.

The heatwave is coming and we knew the best way we could help was get Blueberry Yuzu Fierce released. On an oppressively hot day, can confirm our Berliner Weiss with yuzu and blueberry is one refreshing beverage. Now available on draft and in 4pks to-go at Mousetrap.
