I love this change but we need to go deeper, shaderable exotic weapons and ornaments. Especially if the ornament retains it's material/texture like the carbon fiber suros ornament shown with a green shader turning the carbon fiber green instead.

Funny how Bungie went through and fixed how glows were applied so that they work properly (unfortunately) on some of the newer items but still can't be assed to go back and fix these screen panels to have its glows back. #destiny2

Back in the day, the Lost Pacific Vest used to have glowing screens on the chest panel. Now they don't.
