I think they paid so they could gather enough evidence to hang the Trump administration. If they have evidence of extortion they can more than recoup that first payment in court.

The problem is how we pay those CEOs millions of dollars a year. Most CEO pay packages are structured so that the majority of their salary is based off shares in the company which motivates them to go for short term profit, which includes cutting costs by ripping off employee pay.

The actual Internet started in 1978. Message boards, online games, music and video downloads and online shopping have been around since the first electronic bulletin board service in 1978. DARPA connected the technology to form the Internet in 1983. 1995 is when stupidity invaded the Internet.

Mars will never be terraformed because a huge asteroid struck its polar region millions of years ago cracking it like an egg and exposing its core to vacuum. No core means no magnetic field and very little atmosphere and no way to create more. It’s a dead planet and will always be a dead planet.
