Yesterday I returned from @interspeech.bsky.social. I had an amazing time learning new things, meeting old and new friends 😍 But admittedly 1 of the major highlights was receiving the ISCA Fellow plaque - it means the world to me 🥰

Built this little pond 3 weeks ago in our front garden. It already attracted frogs and dragonflies. Mission accomplished 🤩

Everybody always talks about the upsides of working from home. I think it's time to discuss the downsides... "Gone again" on the inside of the empty chocolate 🍫 wrapper in my home office. Thank you, wife. Again.

Last year we moved houses and created a little pond in our front garden. We moved a few of the frogs from our previous garden to the new pond in the hope 1 or 2 would remain. I guess we were successful and might have a few more... 😆

I almost thought I was not human. I needed 4 tries to get the character sequence right... Is it just me or do more people not immediately understand what is expected of you here?
