January 2015 was chosen because it was a year into the Ps4 lifecycle which the S2 hardware was compared too. Whole separate can of worms with the fact that the S2 is a portable - but a yearish in for both felt fair.

Depressing numbers aside, can we stop trying to call Ninty greedy for 80$ games? It sucks. But having the digital at 70$ gives the equivalent of a 15$ discount in 2015 money. Things like targeted pricing, go ham. That's greedy. But keeping up with basic inflation? No, YALL greedy this time.

Did that with a horror game. My audio layers got merged onto the same track and fucked my whole thing up. Tried splicing in the original scares where I could, and plenty got me again but yeah. Pain.

I mentioned this elsewhere but it's the going from hyper detailed clothes to cartoon perfect skin for me. Genuinely I think Shrek did it way better by just having it be sort of painted and imperfect.

I was just thinking that too. Like going from hyper textured tunic to cartoon skin texture is just off-putting. Like the hyper detailed tunic makes me think of Shreks vest, but then his skin had plenty of wrinkles and beauty marks.

Like I'm not an OOT super fan, but I do love the series and it says a lot that the art style has killed my motivation to pick this one up. I feel like it's uncanny valley. Like 3DS did it but still kept some of the charm of the 64 version but this feels too far removed if that makes sense?

Oh wow, you're missing out! Def worth doing, and grinding for Oathkeeper and Oblivion. (Beat Critical Mode for Oblivion, find all Lucky Emblems for Oathkeeper.) The DLC also let's you choose to play some of the big fights as people other than Sora which was really fun and I hope they use that in 4!

I forgot how much I love KH3- Like there are certainly a few too many cutscenes and I wish they had integrated some of the Disney worlds better (Tangled + Frozen) but god the gameplay is fun, and I actually LOVE the final third of the game just being a massive boss rush.

I flip between both so much! Both are valuable and burn you out for different reasons (Live 'performance' style energy drain vs Editing exhaustion). It really stinks because consistency is so important for growth on both platforms- and there is less overlap than people would think. 😔

Edit 2: It's also being used in a very systematic way to try and erase homeless people from showing up in the data as a way to make it seem like they're fixing the problem. You aren't slick. You can't just define the problem out of existence.

Housing and Urban Development. As someone who was homeless and couch surfing for several years as a teen, We absolutely needed help. I understand prioritizing people who are literally on the street with limited funds, but you just can't know the full picture and such broad limitations harm so many.

Education Time: "Unhoused" is NOT the 'PC term' for Homeless. Unhoused is based on HUD definitions that disqualify folk who are in situations like couch surfing. (staying with friends temporarily). Those folk ARE still homeless, but can't be fully supported by orgs due to gov. funding. #FuckHUD
