I think I've done all I can to get ready for winter, with a few things left, like snow tires and cleaning out the garden. Yet I am so behind on the fall cleaning. Hmm, maybe I should have waited to commit to learning photography, light, and focus stacking 🤔 Oh well, I can't turn back now ... LoL

He's so skinny. He is probably starving... So I'm sure he likes yours better, and hoping they open the door. With a spoon and a bowl full of stew.

Following the scent of stew. Tiptoeing through the foggy dew. Mumbling, my name is Wandering Stu. Oh, how do ya do? #oddlyme #poem #micropoetry

I agree... I haven't read anything about it today. But I don't trust Russia to be truthful. However, nothing wrong with being ready just in case.

Socialism is where most businesses are owned collectively. People don't privately own factories and machinery. I haven't met a Democrat, an Independent, or a Republican who wants that. The only ones redefining socialism are influencers and Republican politicians.

I hope you feel better soon... hugs

I hope it doesn't spread...

This bitch has no idea what being raped does to the mind, the heart, the soul. The spirit of a being, and what it takes to process it and learn to live with it... The rapists knows what it does. That's why they do it... and it has nothing to do with looks. Perhaps she's jealous... 🤔

I love this picture... the red and white bring the darkness to life.

Nyx, female captain of the small spaceship 'NeverDone'. She's half me, 'flawed but loyal, ' and half the person I'd like to be, 'fast, strong, and brave. 😉 She's a mechanic in my unfinished scifi novel. #oddlyme #CreativeWriting #WritingCommunity

They're Coming To Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!

Switching the 'me' to 'you' I sang this song when my ex got taken away by the police...

What an eloquent faint... Thank you

I pray you heal quickly... 🙏

She's got strength and energy :) 🙏 You're doing great :) Your love is strong.

I hope you feel better soon ...

Shocking as it was, I hope you're feeling better...

Thank you jriegs... I'm winding down for a break myself. I'll still do some reading. I won't be writing much poetry. I'll be reposting stuff. I need to get the house and yard ready for winter. Plus the fall cleaning... lol. I'm also hoping to work on my fanfiction once the winter prep is done.

I'm happy that you have help caring for her. I've prayed for her. No matter what happens, the little one won't go through it alone; she has you and your helper... hugs

It's sad that the little one was abandoned. I do hope he/she does well with your love and care... Do you know what species it is- mouse, rat, squirrel?

It took four days, but 🫤 I felt that from here...

Yes, it was very intense. I like that they used real submarine jargon. I still have trouble fathoming how anyone could psychologically survive jumping every 33 minutes for 238 jumps... My favorite scene was Adama, Tigh, and Dualla. When Adama was so tired he thought it was his turn to sleep.

Leonard Cohen ~ Dance me to the end of love

I always think of the characters Saul and Ellen Tigh from Battlestar Galactica RDM when I hear this song. I could listen to it on loop for hours. I write BSG rdm fanfiction when I'm overstressed and need an escape. #oddlyme #leonardcohen #BSG #SongsOfSeptember Day 27
