A completed commission for a vast, hard science fiction worldbuilding project. #art #illustration #worldbuilding

A trio of radically altered post-human cyborgs. The top-center is a white, segmented, mechanical serpentine form navigating the space above a Mars-like planet with a pair of RCS blocks connected to its main body via flexible tubes. It has a sensor cluster for a head consisting of cameras and antennae.

On the top-left is a holographic panel with a diagram depicting the generalized control/processing unit for the beings.

On the lower-right is an octagonal radial form in an interior setting, and each of its wedge-shaped sides can detach into individual walking units and reattach into the composite being.

Lastly, on the lower-left is a manta ray-like bodyplan swimming through an ocean past monolithic structures. It has chromatophores present on its pectoral fins and a pair of jointed arms near their head, with one arm is reaching for a floating device.

Arid patrol #oc #art #militaryart

A trio of fox-eared, fox-tailed soldiers dressed in khaki fatigues. In the foreground is a fox girl with a canvas chest rig and armed with an AK-pattern rifle. On the right of the image, a similar soldier, holding a booklet, has a pistol holster around her thigh. The tracked IFV is on the left of the image, standing by. The third soldier is a faint silhouette at the distance.

Setting my backlogs aside for this new artwork after inspiration struck from listening to Anglo-Saxon lyre music. #art #sketch #oc #AngloSaxon #fantasyart
