Zach Cherry is now in my two favourite films of the year; both times their appearances were an unexpected and pleasant surprise

Poster for "Resident Evil" (2026). Bryan, the lead, is walking through a snowy, wrecked cityscape.

Poster for "Teenage Sex And Death At Camp Miasma". The two leads are covered in bloody, walking through a snow-covered forest setting, walking through a repeating square pattern.

because it's fun, here's a list of 10 horror movies that i deeply love & feel are still under-appreciated • The Cat (衛斯理之老貓)(1992) • Cemetery Man • In The Mouth Of Madness • Lake Mungo • May • Miracle Mile • Opera (1987) • Possession (1981) • Pulse (回路)(2001) • The Stuff

The grim reaper, as featured in Cemetery Man. They have the typical black hooded cloak and skeletal body, with black feathered wings. They are carrying a scythe too, which is partly off-screen.

Two eldritch creatures on a painting, from In The Mouth Of Madness. They are laid down on a grassy bank beside a lake. There are towers submerged in the lake.

A woman tied up in Opera (1987). There is tape over her mouth and there are lines of tape stuck under her eyes, with needles attached.

A man holding a gun to his own head over a webcam, from the film Pulse (aka Kairo, 2001).

I feel like the real life Frank Spencer right now, only a depressing (and thankfully childless) version, can't drive, can't work, can't function as a human

Frank Spencer (portrayed by Michael Crawford) in the 1970s comedy series, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. He is looking at the camera, with a look of dread on his face and his finger pointed up beside his open mouth. He is wearing a white-collared shirt, with what looks like a green ascot and pale blue V-neck sweater.

Who would like to share the delirium this Saturday with me and a weird old "horror" game?
