Got a new zoom lens for my Nikon Z Fc, and the moon was looking very pretty tonight…

A picture of the moon. Probably the best picture I’ve taken of the moon with a decent amount of detail, especially around the edges. But it is, after all, the same moon that everyone else photographs (with the noted exceptions of the Apollo and Artemis astronauts).

My foray into using Gitea Actions to have a privately-hosted git repository that will automatically build and deploy on a schedule has hit a sizable, but entirely predictable, roadblock. Not bad for an evening, but still a ways to go.

Automakers of America, here’s what I want in an electric: 200+ mile range NACS charging Fits in unconventional parking spots like an actual small car and not the compact SUVs that every electric seems to be these days!

Got a burst of inspiration for a point-and-click adventure, figured out ways I could build it in Svelte, and now I’ve got an HTML version of a old phone…

A webpage mocked up to have the interface of a circa-2002 Nokia mobile phone with a back, action, and scroll buttons. The current screen is home, the action button is for alerts, the scroll buttons are for numbers. There are 3 bars of signal.

Working on a color scheme… I don’t think I need any interface colors besides primary, secondary, error, and neutral, right? I know a lot of the off-the-shelf systems have “success” and “info” and “danger” (not to be confused with “error”), but I also feel like I never use those.

A color palette with red, golden-brown, red, and grey in foreground and background colors and all in light and dark modes.
