Black cats are the best cats. I wasn't too keen on Saschia when mom first brought him home, but the next 17 years would see him be the best thing that ever happened to me. You are dearly missed, big guy.

The Corsi-Rosenthal box is complete. Can finally get some clean air in here. (Not to be confused with the Aki Rosenthal box)

Odda's Corsi-Rosenthal, homemade air purifier.

Was about to embark on a journey to find the perfect 2D platformer controller, only to realize I've been sitting on it for years.

An old model Hori controller. The Hori Fighting Commander 3.

Well, I learned the hard way that my usual fireworks vantage points are obsolete and that I'll need a new location. Missed most of the show because of it. At least ribs and cornbread were good.

Just got reminded that it's turning 9 freaking years old this year, so here's Nier Automata for #RandomGameSaturday Didn't like it nierly as much as most people, but still an okay with an awesome soundtrack. Combat is great, makes up for the numerous instances of questionable design imo.

Eggs Benny Dicked. I haven't figured out why Benny would do such a thing, whatever gets you going I guess, nor why we consider such a thing a delicacy, but it sure is tasty.

I passed by a Trump rally at the capital a few years ago, and the no kings protest today is at least four times as large. Love to see it. These screenies don't do it justice. Lansing, MI.

Somehow, I feel like these statements are in direct contradiction with each other.

I became aware of this box art just a couple days ago, and I can't get over how sick it is (this is the Japanese version of Hyperstone Heist).

The Japanese release cover for TMNT: The Hyper Stone Heist, released under the title of TMNT: Return of the Shredder. The ninja turtles battle the Foot Clan in an all out war in what appears to be a wasteland.

Random game Saturday. Yet another game I bought a really, really, really long time ago and proceeded to never play. Apparently some of the best items and gear is locked behind the now defunct online functionality. Outta make for an interesting first playthrough, whenever that happens.

Oh, look, its infogrames, remember them? For this #randomgamesaturday we have Ms. Pac-man and the Golden Maze. Neither the longest nor the most challenging game you can play, especially if you have prior Pac-man experience, but it's a good time.

Random Game Saturday. This was handed to me by a cousin. Iirc, the code at the top is for the installation. This is how I came into possession of 1nsane, a thrilling offroad racer. No set track- how you reach the goal is entirely up to you. 10 bucks on GoG.
