To create detail, you must plan loops. A good flow is good retopology. I am not good at retopology heheh

To create more vertices, faces, etc. -to capture more detail- you create loops. *This pattern is seen in the bottom of the image.* those same loops are how a 2d plane captures the lowest possible definition of a 3d shape made of only quads (a cube).

Anyways, I thought of giving up. And admittedly I think I did for a while. But as it turns out, life just keeps on going. quitting didn't make sense for me... because all I could think about was coming back. And it was impossible for it to be final. I will always come back to this I wont quit.

I think for Art it's mainly planning and doing; which comes in planning out thematic meaning and how to convey that. The learning here would probably either an Art program... or watching movies 🤑🤑

Wish I can post more 2d doodles; but been busy bashing my head against the wall trying to learn javascript, it's many frameworks, and the interconnected APIs across the internet; and finally trying to overcome 3D hair. if i: geo node, hair card, etc. The biggest problem I faced in my 3D work😭

thus the nuance of the muscles and fat cannot be captured by mere focal points along a 3 dimensional silhouette. luckily there is still value in this technique, if you would like to create a base mesh to sculpt upon; using this kind of focal point controller.
