Wild that I got this 30 seconds before I felt shaking. And for once i actually climbed under my desk. #earthquake

I posted this video on the 🧵 app and the number of people who don’t know what a tracking collar is, think it’s a pet, and don’t bother to read the 100+ replies of me saying it’s a tracking collar is alarming, to say the least. 🫠#mountainlion

I have lanterns, backup phone batteries, etc. But I’d love an affordable solution to keep the modem/router powered, & maybe my little car fridge. I’m wondering if a 250 or 500w camping battery would do the job, at least weekdays after work. @richontech.tv any suggestions?

I realize this is insignificant compared to what many are dealing with in LA, but my little canyon in OC has been without power for pretty much a whole week due to SCE Public Safety Power Shutoff). One of the worst parts of this is we have almost no cell service, so no reliable way to stay informed

Yesterday I took off work because I didn’t want to leave my dog home alone and didn’t want to stray too far from home, just in case. Luckily a friend said I could stay with her, which ended up turning into a lovely impromptu dinner party with a bunch of our friends. I feel very blessed.

Edison sent out an email this morning indicating they may keep our power off through the weekend and maybe longer, with winds expected to pick up. A small inconvenience compared to what many in LA are dealing with, but still frustrating.

Awful! Having no power is a small inconvenience in comparison, but it’s the third time in a couple months and I’m not hopeful it’ll go on before Friday.

I’m in Orange County in a fire-prone canyon with power currently shut off and a major fire nearby in September. These LA fires are so devastating, and now two near where to I used to live years ago in the Bird Streets. Positive ones to all affected.

Devastating fires in LA. High winds in OC and my power was shut off last night, but hoping for the best.

Hearing about all these drones or whatever they are makes me feel like I need to start listening to Vogon poetry.

Good morning to everybody, especially the mountain lion that passed by my back door and my bedroom window 15 minutes before I woke up. 😮

An Ohio legislator introduced a bill to make flag-planting at the Horseshoe's 50-yard-line a felony.

…and we’re back! About 35 hours later.

24 hours later, power still out. Subsisting on flameless candles, camping lanterns and multiple layers to stay warm.

I saw my first VW ID Buzz in the wild last night and want to share this amazing photo I got of it (from the passenger seat of the car it passed on the 91 West). 🫠

Betting this is Ryan Day’s last game against Michigan for Ohio State. If not last game with Ohio State period.

Awesome! I found tons of ‘80s-‘90s Betsey (she’s one of my faves)! I might be able to wear some of it still and I just might! If I had a daughter instead of a son, she’d do the same I’m sure! 🙂

OMG I’ve moved about a million times over the years so things have been scattered in the wind. I’ve been going through my mom’s house the past few weeks and this was what I wanted to find the most! I would’ve been heartbroken if I hadn’t found it!

Also came across this photo of me reading the Lantern while waiting for a campus bus at Ohio State. A photography student had taken it earlier and gave it to me when he saw me there again!

So good! UK Season 2 has long been my favorite, and the girl group challenge I think is the best episode ever, but this is giving it a run for its money for sure!

I haven’t found Drag Race Bluesky yet, but this season (6) of @rupaulsdragrace.bsky.social UK is top tier! And the makeover episode is one of the best of the best. All the family members were endlessly charming. 💖
