Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 23/03/2025I already have 'too' many records and cds so I will not be buying cassettes but at $0.50 each, I couldn't leave without these ones. 171
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 08/12/2024Consequence of Sound #43 album of 2024. Knocked Loose's 'You Won't Go Before You're Suppose To.' I didn't do anything wrong, stop screaming at me. Not my thing. Didn't get through the second song. Probably won't be revisiting. 020
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 08/12/2024Consequence of Sound #44 album of 2024. They pinholed this one as jazz, which I don't know much about. However, it reminded me of Kraftwerk. So I you love Krautrock and curious about jazz, maybe check this out. Or don't, whatever. 040
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 08/12/2024Consequence of Sound #45 album of 2024. Confession; I may have come into this a little skeptical. Not a huge metal fan and these guys have been doing this for a LOOOONG time. How much juice do they have left? Well a lot apparently. This was really fun. 020
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 07/12/2024Great looking set-up. I would lose track of time here 140
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Consequence of Sound #46 album of 2024. Wishy's 'Triple Seven' is the perfect blend of shoe-gaze, 90's alt-rock, and jangly indie. This is their debut!!?? I have some high hopes for this band 000
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Consequence of Sound #47 of 2024. Arooj Aftab 'Night Reign'. I haven't figured out the Chamber genre (yet). Really interesting and engaging sound scape though. Like watching a creepy movie. Will revisit 010
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Consequence of Sound #48 of 2024. Another banger by Father John. His perspective of the world is 'fun'. A great mix of upbeat and melancholy. I will likely grab this one on vinyl. 000
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Consequence of Sound #49 album of 2024. Maxo Kream's 'Personifaction'. Really personal stories. Laid back vocals and groove. My neck is sore from the head bob. Great guests. 000
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Consequence of Sound #50 album of '24. Not the Breeders or Pixies but all Kim Deal. She threw all genres into a bag a created something special. If there are 49 albums better than this, 2024 will be one of the best 010
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 01/12/2024Now listening to NME's #432 album of all time. New to me. This album is like a homeless person wearing a tuxedo. It's beautifully crafted but gritty. Maybe for Tom Wait fans or The National? I'm really into it 300
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 01/12/2024David Bowie's record player if anyone was interested 2596
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 23/11/2024This cold and rainy day calls for my favorites. This afternoon looks like this: 0100
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 22/11/2024Now listening to NME's #431 album of all time. One of the big grunge bands. This album really leans into the sounds of metal music. Vocals gave me chills. Some grunge sounds dated. This one holds up. 1121
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 21/11/2024I would never give this room up and it would never let me down. 030
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Now listening to NME's #430 album of all time. New to me. As a punk rock fan not sure about baroque pop, so don't listen to me. It is bombastic and dramatic. Good string section and strong production. In what setting would you play this? 130
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Now listening to NME's #429 album of all time. I don't love pop-punk. It tends to be a bit samey-same for me. This one has little more grit. It feels more sincere. Good hooks. It's OK but it might...wait for it...just take some time 120
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Would it be weird to ask if it's alright I spread my ashes in your room? 1111
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Now listening to NME's #428 of all time. *Trigger Warning Upcoming* I'm not the biggest Boss fan. This is the only one I love. I don't hate any but I find most meh. The exceptions are Darkness, Nebraska and Tunnel I like. 230
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Here's one for the vinyl and cd fans. At Bluesky, we all get along lol 0151
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 17/11/2024Now listening to NME's #427 album of all time. New to me. How can something be unusually off-kilter and accessible? It is weird but the melodies are rooted in a Beatles sound. Adding to regular rotation 260
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 17/11/2024My watch last night. Would recommend. Good prequel to That's the Way It Is 010
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 16/11/2024Now listening to NME's #426 album of all time. More accessible from previous effort but still snubbing the mainstream. A great alt rock starting place. I'm here for it. 050
Huckleberry @oceanclean.bsky.social · 16/11/2024An old picture of a field full of things I like better than post-punk 060
