As much as mandleson is turning into an albatross for starmer, several things can be true. First we need to accept governments have to act duplicitly sometimes in the national interest. Every government in the world does this to different extents. Unpalatable decisions are inevitable...

After this week I wouldn't be surprised if the eu and Ukraine dropped nato membership as a red line. Fast track eu membership for Ukraine, announce eu army with art 5 like condition once they've joined, announce uk will honor it. Shadow drop the announcement at the worst time possible

I was watching a video by Gary Stevenson where he says the only way to fix the economy, is fixing wealth inequality, I'm not disagreeing. But I can't think of an example of a huge downward redistribution of wealth, that didn't involve a lot of blood and violence. Am I wrong?
