Reporting the same security issue to pnpm vs bun: pnpm acknowledged it quickly, shipped a fix, backported it, and published an advisory. bun never acknowledged, silently fixed this and another issue I reported, has not published advisories. One takes security more seriously.
Prompt response from pnpm. Fixed and published. No response on github from bun.No response from bun on email.

JSX was hated at first. Now everyone uses it. I bet directive like "use server" and "use no memo" will go through the same cycle: confusion, criticism, then acceptance.

In the next version of ProseKit, you can jump directly to the ProseKit source TypeScript code from your IDE (no more .d.ts declarations). This makes it super easy to inspect what's happening under the hood and copy & paste useful snippets.

Congrats to the Oxlint team on the v1.0 release! 🎉 It's blazing fast, but sadly we'll have to stick with ESLint for a bit longer as Oxlint doesn't support type-aware rules
A code snippet in TypeScript. The run function calls an async function doSomethingAsync() without the required await keyword. Comments below point out the missing await and state that ESLint can catch this bug, but Oxlint cannot.

The new version of ProseKit is now compatible with the React compiler. Reading external systems (like navigator.online) directly during the rendering phase violates React's rules. This actually makes a lot of sense to me. 🤔

I’ve been working on a project with OpenCV.js recently. It's powerful, but existing npm packages have some quirks. They requires wired initialization steps, and require extra config for bundlers like Webpack.
