"I am. Thoroughly." Bruce kisses Kal right in the middle of the suite, pushing his blazer off his shoulders, locking his hands together behind his back with it for now. He cups his face, kissing down into his mouth slowly. "I'm going to ravage you."

"Just wait." Bruce has all the nicest things in the world, but he has nothing without Clark and the girls. The doors open, and they walk out into a floor to themselves, sprawling out above Gotham City, with everything they could possible want for the evening.

Bruce takes Kal's hand and kisses as they enter. They are given a nod and Bruce leads Clark to the one way elevator to the penthouse.

He will get there. Its still raw to him, even if its been five years. Losing a child is worse than losing your parents, he's pretty sure about that. "They are everything to me." He kisses Kal's hands and then lets go. He gives fob to the valet and helps Clark out.

Having Richard for a little while had really set the pace for the life he really wanted. Losing his son had been some of the most difficult times of his life. Finding Clark and having all of this /this/ has been the saving grace he needed. "Thankful..." He pulls into the valet of the Ritz.

"Am I?" He knows. Of course he knows. He tries hard to give Clark and their family the very best.

Bruce shakes his head, knowingly. "It hasnt been easy to keep from you. Takes a lot work to make sure you don't hear anything."

He helps Kal in and then jogs around, getting in himself. "I've been planning for a while."

Bruce takes Clark's hand and makes their quick exit. Alfred gives them a knowing look as they pass, ready to get the girls home anyway. Bruce has the car pulled around and helps Clark in, ever gallant.

Bruce cups Clark's face and kisses him slowly. "No one will mind if we leave."

"Overnight bags packed and waiting in our room." Bruce kisses Clark's temple, their affection soft and warm, felt throughout the room.

"I booked us a room at the Ritz for the evening," Bruce whispers, hoping it's not too much for Clark, but it keeps them in town and close to the girls.

Bruce's eyes soften, hard edges and wrinkles with it. "I know we are."

"I think so, too." He keeps calling Clark his husband in his head since well before the twins were born. It has felt right since the first time they made love.

"Husband." Bruce kisses him sweetly on the mouth, slowly. "I love you."

Bruce smiles, contented. He loves this life they have more than anything. "Maybe for tonight."

Bruce kisses his husband back slowly, the world around them dimming and narrowing down to just them once more. "I love you."

Alfred and Martha take the twins, and Bruce immediately sweeps Clark up into his arms and holds him, swaying. "Always."

Bruce Wayne @obsidian-knight.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

He shakes his head, not sure he believes that. Or, maybe he didn't until recently, when Kal has shown him that he was capable of much more than hurt and anger. That life could be good. People could be good. "You deserve it."

Bruce takes one baby girl and ma Kent gives the other to Kal. Bruce wraps his little family up in his arms. "I love you," he whispers to Kal, never as happy as he is now.

Their colleagues whoop around them and Alfred and Ma bring it all in with the girls, hugging them both. "Its about time someone has made you an honest man," Alfred says to Bruce.

"You can now kiss your groom," the mayor says. Bruce takes Kal's face in his hands and kisses him, fierce and sweet all at once, then wraps his arms around him and dips him for a deeper one.

Always vacant, always hoping you'd find a way to fill the void and brighten the darkness. And then year you did. Finally. You did. In so many more ways than one. I can't wait to make you happy forever." He pulls the ring from the box and slips it onto Kal's finger. "Clark?" The mayor leads.

Ecstatic, Bruce grabs the rings and ushers Clark to the front with the mayor. "Who knew we'd be seeing Bruce Wayne finally marry this year? I guess we had his type wrong this whole time," the mayor said with an easy smile. "Friends and family, we are gathered here today to stand witness to -

Bruce slips out of the booth, hand taking Clark's to help him out, and the mayor gets up to walk with them to a little archway that has been set up, visible now in the light. "Absolutely sure?" he asks one more time, just in case Kal wanted a different kind of wedding.

Bruce Wayne @obsidian-knight.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Bruce has been very sneaky. Behind them in other booths are his mother and Alfred with the girls in little pink and purple dresses. Various members of the Justice League in their day clothes, all apparent now that Bruce has signaled them. "Do me the honor?"
