It is THE most infuriating aspect of playing Bama

Too be fair it wouldn’t be a UGA-Bama game without Bana being allowed to hold with impunity.

The UGA secondary has some serious pass defending issues. They have plenty of measurables, but not much feel for the basics of the position

I had missed early afternoon Bulldog effort. It is so comforting to see it come home.

Loved the sublime brilliance of the pas de trois twice over. All 6 of the actors in those scenes were completely vibing with each other and I found both hysterical. I could watch scenes like this just for themselves with no need for plot moving forward, but I have also read the books so maybe why.

It is hard to hate a team with Nakobe Dean on it.

What was the prop get he was helping?
001
observerofhistory.bsky.social @observerofhistory.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
All you need to follow to KNOW this is true is to follow individual prop bets. For instance if receiver has a big gain on early pass that all but assures they should hit the over, suddenly the QB forgets they exist the rest of the game.

Basically i feel like our offense never passes in the mid third of the field apart from a few deep balls, and maybe that is why every damn crosser is open while the DBs are waiting to make the perfect after the easy catch

Man, Monken loved him some tunnel screens. One of the greatest was in Peach Bowl against OSU. I could feel the glee with which Amarius Mims demolished an OSU DB from the stands.

Gunner is risk-averse when it comes to throwing the ball. Not necessarily a bad thing, but him being tentative tends to mean he doesn’t anticipate guys coming open on crossers and that leaves a lot of yards on the field, esp with TEs. He doesnt trust the scheme and waits too long too often.

Bennett made quick decisions (not always the correct ones) and read through progressions quickly; one can actually watch Stockton methodically reading through his. He needs to get better at throwing the crossing receiver open. They are almost always going to be open, but Stockton hesitates to throw

www.bbc.com/sport/olympi... @shutdownfullcast.bsky.social just in case you haven’t seen this. I feel like we need a whole discussion on how to improve each Olympic sport by adding a ridiculous level of unnecessary added danger

A river that is home to about 500 saltwater crocodiles is given the OK to host Olympic and Paralympic rowing and canoeing events at the 2032 Brisbane Games.

Much as I adore Joe Country, so much of its beauty is due to its literary vibe and internal psychology versus an easy screen adaption, especially needing blizzard conditions/deep winterscape for it. Being Louisa-centric is also an issue as the actor is doing other projects. Do hope Lech is not cut

All you have to know about Saban was he was the one bitching the loudest about Ole Miss because they were upping the cost of players for Bama. Saban quit as soon as all the illegal advantages he enjoyed at Bama, esp # of paid coaches (analysts in Bamaspeak), were legalized.

While the black jerseys will always be the true alternative to me, the all whites on a hot early Sept game at least helps with heat regulation.

I dont think it is labelled on that map, but there is a WaHo in Marietta at the corner of the road where the county correctional facility is located and is literally next to the county morgue, and I have always wondered what that one is like after midnight.

@shutdownfullcast.bsky.social After listening to your podcast, I have to stand up for The Big Green. There are many very useful skills that can be learned there: like chopping a log while shotgunning a beer.

To be honest, i cant think of any movie in past 5-10 years that I would call a cultural phenom. I have liked several, but they just dont change my worldview. That role seems to have gone to streaming TV shows for me.

I admit I prefer the book timeline of his growing awareness and the results of his rash actions. It really makes for a devastating emotional arc. I get why some adaptation was required for TV, but I think they missed emotional punch the book has.

At this point, Rams have to keep all 3 QBs on roster if they want Bennett available to them. He isn’t going to clear waivers. I mean I think there is a greater than zero number of coaches/GMs out there looking at their “starting” QBs, then looking at Bennett, and then looking back at their QB.

I think you are right. They had to do some “shifting” of the plot structure to deal with 2nd book choices. In radically changing story, they accidentally took out an emotional load bearing wall. Daniel’s/Donald’s arc in Shift is devastating and is what invests the reader emotionally in the story.
