I'm tackling accessibility and usability in my Twitch chat bot with renewed vigor and I am very happy with recent progress. I added a lightning fast search box to help users find commands. You can now select from a list of redemptions available on your channel as a trigger.

If you love puzzle games and haven't played Hourglass by Cyberwave Games, it's a super solid first-person Portal-like. The environment has some elements of The Sojourn mixed with the recorder mechanic from Talos. They did a very good job with execution. Never got boring.

Vivaldi couldn't use Ubuntu 20.04's ffmpeg version anymore, so it was finally time to update Mommabird's PC to Elementary OS 8. Wow. What a dumpster fire. Buggiest Elementary version since Freya.

Spent a day trying to recreate my guitar rig on Linux and the process has taught me a lot about what I'm actually doing. Guitar Rig 7's Ultrasonic amp sim is modeling a Bogner Überschall and with neural amp models and impulse responses, I can recreate it using generic tools.

This was quite the sight tonight! This is a picture from Stellarium because I don't have the equipment to capture a picture of the real thing. The sky looked like a canvas everything was painted on and the moon looked like a paper cutout. It was gorgeous.

It's official, I'm back on Linux. I went full Windows because of my stream, but with Copilot and Win11's quality issues it doesn't "Just Work™" anymore. Linux has come a long way in the last 10 years and some games even run better through WINE/DXVK than native.

Google changed their icons again, so now I have to relearn how to find all of their apps. I swear they're like a grocery store. As soon as you find your way around they change the layout so you have to waste time in the store relearning how to get work done.
