deliberately making an excuse to withhold the intel because Putin asked for that. Either way, 47 is despicable. One cannot even argue that the diesel deal helps the USA - they export the stuff!

Given the Trump blackmail regarding refineries - no intel if you target them - cutting off any product from them is even more critical. I love how Trump either falls for Putin’s clever deceit “We won’t attach Ukraine’s refineries if they do not attack ours” (Ukraine has none operational) or is

Galloping through the next 100,000 losses. Not long ago passed through 1.5 million on day 1659 of the war. On day 1688 only 30 days later This is a rapidly escalating meat bill.

Few on this channel do believe what Putin says, but most are interested in what he does say or does not say. That can be important in assessing what is happening in Russia Same for Trump.

So one aircraft carrier out of the rotation - probably for 5 years and at twice the budget number. The last time an aircraft carrier was returned to operations in less than the forecast time was USS Yorktown (CV 5) for the Battle of Midway in June 1942.

Yet the same SCOTUS just voted 9-0 to throw out a republican state gerrymander - the third time they have done it - time before was 6-3 and the one before that was 1-0 by Kavenagh (i.e. it was not even sent to a small panel). So I am not sure I would characterise the court as badly partisan.

Yes The West tricked Russia into attacking Ukraine so that Ukraine could bless Russia dry over several years. The West was very clever as they constantly asked Russia not to attack Ukraine in order to disguise what they really wanted. He cannot expect anyone to believe this rubbish.

They had already bled out of the UK the bases they wanted in return for obsolete destroyers and were busy swapping UK monetary reserves for weapons. They entered the war against Germany only because Germany declared war on them - and started sinking its ships. FDR did not mention Germany in his

At one point, U.S. assistance to the UK in Asia was dependent upon the UK making India independent. The diplomatic dancing around this issue, given how attached Churchill was to India, is fascinating. The U.S. eventually saw it could get Indian independence without making it a condition.

And a dribble from Hogsbreath saying the Trait of Hormuz was Europe’s war. They surely cannot seriously think we believe this rubbish. If they do, I wonder what little will be left of the USA when MAGA loses power.

When one sees the size of the fire control computers in WWII battleships (which had to compute based on courses, speed etc, but did not have to take into account vertical movement) and realise that the same calculations are now being made for two (presumably separate) auto guns on a helicopter - wow

With Ruzzia, you need to react strongly. Saying you will may deter the Russian thirst for conquest. If not act strongly immediately. Turkey shot down a Russian jet - no more incursions.

Zelenskyy is ready for a deal. Putin is ready for a deal. What is the problem Trump? You wrote the book on the Art of the Deal. Wait … those deals are different? How is that a problem? Now give me the Nobel Peace Prize!

One Telegram channel reported that Putin would not allow a flight from Moscow to Kyiv. Zelenskyy made the point fast Kyiv’s airports were able to accept the flight. Another humiliation by Putin in dictating to the “great again” America but Russia is greater - which the U.S. accepted! Idiots!

On that basis for wanting Greenland, he is no better than Putin or Hitler. Still, stealing land from their neighbours mainly by war, has been the way of the U.S. since its foundation. The Louisiana purchase and Alaska (Seward’s folly) are two exceptions.

If the administration will lie about deaths in the Iran conflict, then labour statistics are zero chance of accuracy. (Most of these economic statistics are revised later, anyway. Speed to publish tends to require approximations and judgment input.)

To be fair (hard to do with Trump, I know), strategically Greenland is an important defensive buffer for the U.S. - as is Canada. Acknowledging that, we can still pile on about Trump’s stupidity as he tried to have those benefits (given the then existing treaties actually gave what was needed)

If Putin did use nuclear weapons, would not the UK and France be able to reciprocate? Once the U.S. leaves NATO, that is the only option, so why is it not so now if 47 will not agree to an Article 5 response because he is out of ammo?
