The best book mail is when I know the author!

The cover of a book: When and Always, A Love Story of Disease and Madness by Lea Grover

Cover art is a roughly drawn picture of eyes in large round glasses below a brain full of scribbles

I saw this ad that's supposed to be heartwarming for a service that helps people to share their memories, but the example question asking about the person's first car makes me wonder if the next question will be about their mother's maiden name.

An ad for Storyworth that looks like texts between a parent and an adult child.

Pops: "That story website you gave me for Father's Day is really something

First question: "your first car?" 1962 Ford Falcon, $400. Hadn't thought about it in 50 years"

Reply: "I've never heard this!!"

Pops: "New one shows up every week. Thank you kiddo, this was a good gift"

"Lead with Kindness." -- good advice from @heidishmoo.bsky.social #bsides312

Presentation slide titled "Lead with Kindness" showing a card that says "On leadership. Lead with kindness. You never know what path others are walking or what they are dealing with in the moment..."

Share a preacher, nun, or priest. (If you haven't seen this show, you should: Betty Gilpin as a nun fighting a big AI corporation)

Peacock Original "Mrs. Davis." A nun driving a motorcycle. A man riding with her sits behind her with his hands around her waist, her veil is blowing over his face. A sign in the background says "Welcome to the Strawberry Hills Motel" and "Our Lady of the Immaculate Valley"

Birdsky: I haven't noticed a bird like this on Federal Plaza before. What is it?

What I love about my @letterboxd.social most watched cast list for 2026 so far is that Lark White is up there with these major stars. She has four total film credits, and I happened to watch two of them (The Testament of Ann Lee and If I Had Legs I'd Kick You) this year.

A "most watched cast" list from the stats section of Letterboxd showing Emma Stone (2 films), Michael Cera (2 films), and Lark White (2 films)

Is there another movie I can watch to keep up my (inadvertent) women looking up on the poster streak?

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam Soundgarden, or Alice In Chains

Album cover: Matthew Sweet. Girlfriend.

You might think my Letterboxd most watched actors of 2025 so far are just due to Star Wars and Kurosawa films, but that's not all! (I also watched The Long Walk, Lawrence of Arabia, Winter Kills, and Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat in Space)

Annual stats form the Letterboxd app showing the headshots and user watch counts for Mark Hamill (4 films), Alec Guinness (4 films), Toshirō Mifune (3 films), and Takeshi Katō (3 films)
