Cars don't kill people, but the irresponsible drunks driving them do. Guns aren't magic items that act on their own. They are tools being wielded by people. Stop being logically and morally inconsistent or shut the hell up. Blame cars and knives and poison for killing people or shut the hell up.

If you're anti gun, you're anti woman. Nothing on Earth will stop and intimate assault on a woman than that woman being armed with a gun. Nothing on Earth will protect a woman like that woman being armed. Disarming her makes her the perfect target for anyone bigger, stronger, more numerous.

By caring for those most marginalized and abused. We need to combat violence with love. We need to help those that feel helpless and alone. I realize that's harder than "feel good" gun legislation that doesn't do anything to prevent terrible acts of violence. But it might actually do some good.

I hope you mean by addressing the root causes of violence in the first place. Because the gun is only a tool. If a person wishes to enact violence they can use knives, explosives, vehicles, bows and arrows, etc. You can't ban your way out of violence. You need only look to UK stats to know that.

If you are anti-gun you are anti-woman. Only the gun can so completely negate an attacker's advantages of size, strength, or numbers. An armed woman is the quickest way to stop an intimate assault. A disarmed woman is the easiest target.
