ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Love doing a filmography vid on a master and having to order vhs tapes because a large portion of his films haven’t had American releases since the 1990’s. @criterion.bsky.social got us two Bunuel this past year and I’m hoping Nazarin is next. 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Got to experience History of Concrete at John Wilson’s personal theater, Low Cinema. That combined with sharing the experience with a lifelong friend made it an experience I’ll never forget. 011
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Go see Forgotten Island - it’s a sheer delight. Big budget original animated movies are still being made. Let’s support them. 131
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 26/09/2026It’s been a Buñuel kind of week #letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched 0150
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 11/09/2026#letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched It was a lot of Star Trek this week 1260
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Saw Buddy - probably the best mascot horror has gotten, but that still doesn’t make it particularly good. 030
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Please don’t waste your money on this movie. I saw it at a Scream Unseen. 120
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 03/08/2026Watching the OG Star Trek as my 2 am burnout show and it never fails to delight. 020
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 26/07/2026Instead of doing a digital chart, I’m getting crafty. 010
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 09/07/2026Went to a theme park. Just like Disneyland. #themepark #liminalspace #backrooms #empty 041
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 05/07/2026What graphic artist is out here making every horror poster “hands grabbing a screaming woman’s face”? 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 04/07/2026I keep forgetting to do #letterboxdfriday so here is #letterboxdsaturday #lastfourwatched 070
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Met an icon. Mummified and displayed for our pleasure. 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 21/06/2026Forgot about #letterboxdfriday and now it’s #letterboxdthursday #lastfourwatched 241
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 20/06/2026Check out Reflection of the Dead Diamond - it’s an interesting subversion of Danger Diabolik and the spy films it spawned. 010
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 09/06/2026 @square-enix-games.com please have someone draw actual cover art. The new KH collection box looks like AI garbage. Sora’s fingers bending all weird and goofy just being asset flipped. It’s an insult to Nomura’s art. #kingdomhearts #aislop @kingdomhearts-eng.paopu.social 110
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 31/05/2026Can’t believe A24 didn’t cut a few f bombs to get this a pg-13 rating. They were escorting kids out of our theater - they’re the primary audience! 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 29/05/2026An Almodovar/Boots Riley collab would hit so hard. #letterbxdfriday #lastfourwatched 0170
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 22/05/2026Thinking of bumping up Is God Is because I like it the more I think about it. Castration movie 2 was better than the first but still far too overindulgent and in need of editing. #letterbxd #letterbxdfriday 010
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 19/05/2026Mail call! I’m so pumped to finally have an Almodovar movie in 4K. I hope @filmsradiance.bsky.social does more! 010
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 19/05/2026Thanks Georgia for changing my voting location at the last minute and not telling me! 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 17/05/2026Just saw Is God Is and can’t believe they want us to believe Janelle Monáe gave birth to this man at age 10. She was fabulous but they doing her dirty with them old sons. 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 15/05/2026Did i do this correctly? #letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched 0100
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 15/05/2026Shoenbrun, Mandico, AND Almodovar all have new films at Cannes. Insane lineup. 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Can’t believe it’s been almost two years and Nickel Boys still doesn’t have a physical release. 010
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Happy Mother’s Day. Don’t forget the annual family viewing of Autumn Sonata. 000
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 09/05/2026Shoutout to the Barnes and Noble employee who got me a 50 percent discount due to confusing signage and lack of aid from management. 121
ObliviousBen @obliviousben.bsky.social · 27/04/2026So excited to get more Svankmajer on blu-ray. For years it’s been trapped in a limited run boxeset. Hope @kimstim.bsky.social and @vinsyn.bsky.social have more to come! 110
