Honeybadger now integrates with Oban, a #Python port of the popular #Elixir background job library. 📚 - Failed workers are reported automatically. - Every job emits telemetry to Honeybadger Insights. - Requests that enqueue a job stay traceable throughout. Big thanks to @oban.pro for the support!

Powerful but subtle features are coming together for Oban Pro. Schedule an entire workflow with an annotation, and offload every cascade's output to object storage. Aside from the ETL functions themselves, that's the entire thing 👇

This is an excellent suggestion (and something we've been doing for any deep changes). Typing out changes loads context into your mind in a way you'll never get from reading in a code review.

Plenty of people run an Erlang cluster _and_ Kubernetes. If you're only running a single node it doesn't matter anyhow, PG will relay locally. But no notifier is also viable if you don't care whether the dashboard works 😄

Haven't we all? 😆 Wish we'd done it before! Using await_signal/2 will block briefly (5s, configurable) before falling back to snoozing. Then, when the signal comes through, it buffers it and makes the job runnable immediately.
