you can get some cheap vps for 5$/mo and once you have it setup it's pretty simple to use & has no maintenance at all p much. domain costs differ per TLD but you can generally get one for 5-10$/yr

there's a surprising amount of artistic intent that goes into ports that gets lost if you vibeslop the whole thing. there's a big difference between faithful renderer swaps with an eye for detail and hastily upscaled, widescreened and AAed reworks that disregard any intent the base game had

i think *that* particular port (and all ports by that group) are also just pretty shoddily made and a worse experience than an emulator, from what i hear. there's also a pretty important distinction to be made between decomps and ports, and the two are usually made by entirely different people
