We coordinate several federally funded training programs including Bridge, MARC, PREP, IRACDA and RaMP. Our mission is to broaden participation in STEM through helping to prepare scholars for careers in biological research.

We have it on good authority that KU PREP prep.ku.edu/apply will soon be open for business! In anticipation we are taking applications for an August/September start date. PREP is a post-bacc program for graduates who intend to apply for a PhD in the biomedical sciences. See website for eligibility.

Our four NIH TWD training grants (Bridge, MARC, PREP and IRACDA) support dozens of early career scientists to prepare them for the next step in their scientific journey. These programs help ensure a strong workforce in biomedical research.
